It is clear from recent archaeological discoveries that Wolves were hunting in Europe long before the famous floodlight games in the 1950s. Although, as always, the press is demonising a handful of our support by claiming that Wolves contributed to the extinction of the Neanderthals in Europe. West Midlands Police are investigating these reports and studying CCTV evidence from 40,000 years ago to see if the reports are true. So far, the only facts known are that Paddy Kenny was in top form then, discussing in Shoot! how he likes to eat a woolly mammoth before a game.

We know that Forest were also present in prehistoric Europe because that's where all the fucking Neanderthals hid. With most of their kids wearing Man Utd and Chelsea loincloths. Archaeologists can't be sure if Leeds was in existence at that time, although there was a lot of cave painting from up north all depicting men fucking moaning and whining about how they didn't deserve to be in the Carboniferous League, they were too big for that and anyway look at how many they took away.

The only direct present-day direct connection with those times are small groups of Neanderthals travelling with some clubs. And the ancient burgers they sell at Dean Court or Goldfinger or whatever the fuck they call their ground now.

Even Bury were massive back then.

Oh god, you tried the food at Dean Court. Consider yourself lucky to be alive.
