He's using covid as a shield now to try and save his political career, what with all these cheese and wine business meetings he was having in lockdown. The guy wants banging up
Rumours coming out of Downing Street is that he was conceived in Chesterfield.

First Grimsby give our squad COVID and now get our FA cup payday scrapped. Is there no limits to what GRIMSBY WILL DO?
I think you'll find we made the whole Covid thing up just to avoid having to play County, the fear got too much... That's if you believe their fans on Twitter anyway!

County fans I know in real life are all sound, as are their posters on here. I do find the obsession of County fans on Twitter a bit bizarre - it’s never even been a rivalry, just a local game with a half decent crowd - bit like playing Donny or Barnsley.

Tbf football twitter is about half a step up from football Facebook, a proper cesspit, I think most clubs are the same. That reaction was especially bizarre though!

To be fair we have sunk even lower than that in the past: :conf:

They are fucking odd honestly. Saw some claiming to be ITK that Kabongo hasnt had his jabs :woot:

This goes alongside them knowing what he earns (anything from 3k-10k per week i've seen) and how much we paid (200k to millions) depending on which County fan you believe. They all have their own sources, and they are all 100% accurate

Yours are just as odd on there, you just won’t notice. All kids being kids for the most part on both sides I guess.

Do ours troll every post your club makes? Genuine question as I rarely check your clubs twitter.

If kids make a habit of using photos of grown ass men as their profile picture, you might be right. Football twitter is a hole

We're already getting that for the game being moved to 5.30, I wonder if we'll get any more for it now being on tv. Moved 15 mins to 5.45 as well, not that that makes any difference.
I think we've got the same, moved to 5.30 and think our lot seemed to think it was just £32,500. Was only about 60k for actually being on tele so not too bad really on top of gate receipts etc.

All 6,000 tickets gone for the Chelsea game after going on general sale late last night. Fortunately I’m a season ticket holder so was able to avoid the mad rush for tickets last night! I’m sure they’ll be quite a few disappointed people this morning at not being able to get hold of one.

Let’s just hope we can still have fans in the ground come the 8th!!

Same boat here... sometimes having a ST pays dividends.

Tell you what though, I'm feeling a new level of irritation from seeing Facebook posts from people you know have barely been to a Town game before crowing about having tickets.

I just hope all the people who actually go to games got one.

Confirmed that after his post-match red card at Torquay Grant Smith will miss our game against Bournemouth. Sonny Blu Lo-Everton will also miss the tie after his red card in the same game.

I was up at midnight securing eight tickets and I seem to be one of about three people who didn’t have any issues.

I had issues but got the 3 I needed in the end. I’ve paid 3 times over because the worldpay transaction site kept crashing.

I've got mine but got a couple of mates who haven't got them who do go most weeks when they can. On the flip i've got other mates who barely go who are also going.

Sounds like the demand was ridiculous, someone said we asked Chelsea for 10k but they couldn't accommodate more than 5850 in the Shed End which is disappointing. Just hope we can bloody go now
