Sooner we get knocked out, the better.

Don’t expect to beat Southport, so I’d rather not build my hopes up.

Job done. Pleased to get through. Our first FA Trophy win in 5 years. Top young talent Bailey Hobson with a second half hat trick. Some player that boy.

Id like to avoid Kings Lynn, AFC Fylde and Kidderminster Harriers in the draw at first glance

If the draw is on Monday at least we'll be in the hat.

As you say I don't expect us to progress any further, much rather improve our league position over the next month or so if possible.

Any reports of any scouts watching Hobson? I know you said before you thought he could play in the FL but if he’s as good as you say, and I’ve no reason to doubt you, at just a level below us, I’d like to think we are keeping tabs on him.

Draw is tomorrow @ 1pm, not sure if it is on live anywhere?

Hoping to avoid Truro away, at least they are playing at Plymouth Parkway, making the prospective journey a little shorter lol.

Nothing I've seen, normally TalkSport will broadcast the draw when it gets down to the last 16.

A home or away tie vs. Uxbridge would be good for us, nice and local too. Unfortunately that won't happen and instead we'll wind up getting Dagenham in another cup draw.

Have they rejigged the structure of this? I'm sure we all came in at the 1st Round.

If we get a home tie, we could be on for one of our smallest crowds ever - Forest are at home on the Saturday and we play Chesterfield the following Tuesday, so it would be on a freezing Friday night.

Hopeful of an interesting but relatively local away game.

Well my eldest has his fingers crossed for an obscure away day for his birthday. On a side note, his birthday next year is the World Cup final, I know I'd definetly rather be at a Plymouth Parkway or Larkhall watching Southend struggle than the biggest game in football.

Anyone know where the regions split in this? I'm hoping Kidderminster might be in the south section.

Kidderminster will definitely be north, I would’ve thought. There always seems to be a heavy southern bias in these regionalised draws down here, so you get teams just north of London even ending up in the northern side. We tended to switch between north and south for the League Cup and Pizza Trophy, but down here we’re north every time without question.

I’m hoping for Alfreton away so I can run the rule over Bailey Hobson. I have earmarked him as Rubén’s replacement.

Dorking at home, thinking this will be one and done in the FA Trophy!

Dagenham game likely to be moved as Plymouth Parkway and Truro drawn at home

Hopefully we'll switch our game to Monday evening just to hack off the hoards of Grimsby fans who want to come over.

Daggers got our draw lol.

East Stand only open for this tie for home fans I reckon against Dorking Wanderers, just as in the FA Cup against Chertsey.

But with Plymouth Parkway also at home, the game will likely get pushed back to the Sunday. Fair play to any Daggers making that trip.

Luckily I'll be in California (Covid willing) and will not have to go to Stockport for our game.
