Was certainly total football tonight. Scary determination to play it out from the back, but dammit it was exciting. 3-1 win. Tubbs scored with his 2nd touch, Traore was superb, Pinnock looks a star in the making.
On Dale. He spent a few million last year buying land for a new stadium and has just shortlisted two architects to design our new abode after 50 architects from around the world enters the competiton. No one at the club thinks for a second he is in this for anything but the long term.

If you're asking about Dale, yes he was Stroud based for many years before he got involved at the club, by invitation of the then board as I recall.

That's the reason many of us think he'll not walk away, his whole business is based in stroud, he lives in stroud, would be very very awkward and uncomfortable for him if he did leave. Plus every time I've spoke to him he genuinely loves and cares for the club. But yes this has to be our year.


Last night's total football was very good to watch. Think our keeper had more touches than Cardiff, pure domination and possession but we actually look like scoring Too! Very exciting season ahead.

I've never been confident of our promotion, but I feel more positive about this season than any in the last 10 or so.
