Could someone with more technical ability post the opening day fixtures please? If it goes ahead...

Anyway, we (Notts) have Dover away, followed by Alty and Barnet at home. Think we’ll take that.

Both our games against the Muff are under the floodlights. Good decision, adds even more tension and atmosphere to them.

Stockport at home on the last day. Could be a title decider.

Our first 5 fixtures are rough!

Chesterfield (H)
Yeovil (A)
Dagenham (A)
Stockport (H)
Wrexham (H)

Talk about a baptism of fire for our return to the top flight of non-league football.

I see the NL still have no common sense in terms of fixture lists. Who in their right minds thinks it makes sense for King Lynn to travel to us on Good Friday, and for us to then go to Yeovil on Easter Monday? What's wrong with making them more local?!

Shame we couldn't have an Xmas double header with Alty or County.

There's not probably enough local games in the league with 3 games xmas, Easter, May bank holiday & local midwek games
Easter always seem to have non-local games - sure we played Tranmere the other Good Friday.

So I'm guessing everyone's Tuesday night games are the same teams home, then away later in the season?

To be fair, most places are 'a trip' from King's Lynn and if away fans are allowed I would expect a reasonable number to travel to you on Good Friday but take your point about Yeovil. Christmas really is just that for us 2x Notts County and a trip to Chesterfield in between which although being some of our more 'local' teams I didn't think we would get. Fingers crossed away fans are allowed from the start of 2021!

Just noticed we play both our games against Chesterfield and Stockport on Tuesday nights as well. Wank.

To be fair I don't mind it, just wouldn't have been my preference. Though I should have expected it as it was always you or Tranmere we got in past years instead of our actual local rivals.

We'll not be around by then anyway so your lads can have Xmas off.

Looks like Chesterfield are going to lose a fair few grand... many of our fans (me included) were holding back on refunds for last season's game, based on when this year's fixture would be

Pinching ourselves really when we see that fixture list. Opening home games against Chesterfield, Stockport and Wrexham in the space of 2 weeks. My god they're in for a shock when the see The Vale..

Whilst those 3 clubs were enjoying the 2nd and 3rd tier of English football, we were scrapping our way back from being relegated 5 divisions from the Conference to the Isthmian League Div 3. And now we're peers.

Away trips to Torquay and Weymouth in May could be very nice indeed for us!

Yeovil fans seem pretty confident they’ll piss it this season

Not a bad a set of fixtures. Not that tough a start on paper and the final games don’t look that hard, but it won’t matter as we won’t be in contention.

Don't think it'll come as too much of a shock for us, we spent 6 years in the NLN remember

Kings Lynn, Stockport, Altrincham, Macclesfield, Yeovil and Torquay are all midweek away. So much for the suggestion that midweeks would be kept for local games.

Some ridiculous excitement going on. Talk of a final day title decider already
I think we will be as good as last year. 8 or 9 of the first choice 11 will be the same as last season. I don’t think we’ve particularly strengthened or got any weaker, other than having a smaller squad.

Apologies from Lynn but you are probably one of our more 'local' games (at just over 100 miles) given that we are playing Notts County and Chesterfield over Christmas. Most of our midweek games are 'reasonable' given where we are in the country although Stockport do appear in our list too as well as Hartlepool but I guess they are in a similar position to us - everywhere is miles away - but not great for us as a part-time club. The sheer number of scheduled midweek fixtures this season was always going to throw up these sorts of problems and really its just for the clubs to make the best of things.
