Since we beat Bradford in the first game of the year, it seems every single side we've played has been on a run of form:
Wigan (A) - 3 unbeaten, haven't lost since
Doncaster (A) - Won their previous 2 league games
Peterborough (H) - 3 unbeaten
Blackpool (A) - 3 unbeaten
Swindon (H) - This is the odd one out, they'd lost the previous 2
Barnsley (H) - 7 league wins in a row
Oldham (A) - 3 unbeaten, hadn't conceded a goal, plus new manager syndrome
Chesterfield (H) - 2 unbeaten
I'm looking forward to playing someone, ANYONE, who has had as much trouble with their form as we have of late. Even Fleetwood, who aren't great, have only lost 1 in 5. Then we go to Scunny who've only lost 1 in 6! At least the next one is Crewe at home, but we normally lose that over the last few years, plus they've lost 2 in 8 and recently went on a 6 match unbeaten run. Why can't the shit teams just stay shit and not put together these irritating little runs?!
FT Fleetwood 2 Gillingham 1 made the most of the driving wind and rain in the first 15 minutes and went 2 nil up. Gifted a goal to Gillingham which put us on the ropes but hung on for a crucial 3 points
To be fair I was impressed by Fleetwood in our draw a couple of weeks ago. Had zero up front (like us really) but kept solid and could of won on the day.
