Unfortunate away fans? Your gaff was probably my favourite of all the places I've been this year. Cracking fish and chips on the seafront, Jim's Sports Bar is superb, and a covered terrace for the away fans. Doesn't get much better!

No problem with that. But I expect our football to be boring. I know the away fans aren't there to watch our football but it will kill the game of any entertainment

This thread says it all. I don't care about this group of boring vanilla players, if they all got stranded in the desert tomorrow, the only players I'd be arsed about coming back alive would be Curtis Thompson, Adams and Noble.

Still, at least we don't concede soft goals anymore after dropping Hollis, it was clearly all his fault...just as everyone said. (despite the fact it clearly wasn't and he was actually good).

Stay up and be shit again next year or go down...neither sounds appealing to me. Sack Derry, keep Derry. I simply don't care.

- I'm categorically in the 'don't sack him this season no matter what' camp but Christ he doesn't make it hard sometimes. Hopefully we launch Woolery back to Bolton via trebuchet upon his loan ending after next Saturday.

It's just weird now. You go on Notts Mad and people think they're identifying specific issues like formation and dropping individual players but I think it's more 'big picture' than that...I just don't think we're very good. I was reading through Leigh Curtis' timeline at half-time and full-time at Pride Park and him calling Garry Thompson 'the best finisher at the club' made me want to lob myself from the upper tier - if ever a sentence summed up how toothless an attack was. Also, judging by his timeline we can be expecting Sean Newton to pick up the L1 player of the year trophy in a few months - there's no chance of him ever criticising his mate 'Newts' is there.
