Okay, this has been ages in the planning and it still needs the finishing touches putting to it.

BUT...... THIS FORUM IS CRYING OUT FOR SOMEONE TO KICKSTART THE REAL FORUM GAMES AGAIN.

With this in mind I'm happy to finish writing the rules and the players stats and get this going.

It's a game along the lines of 1FF Wars, however it won't go on as long as that did. This will be set out in a competition format with a definitive end date.

A brief outline of the game is that teams of 3/4 depending on numbers would build a team of players. These players will have individual stats that will affect the games they play in. Just as an example, a player I've wrote up is Lewandowski (He will cost a fortune to sign, but more details on how you win money etc will come once I know whether there is enough interest for me to go ahead with this.) Lewandowski has a 'Power' called 'Never Misses'.

The games you play will be done with dice rolls, and the standard rule for a goal will be rolling a 6. However with Lewandowski a 2,4 or 6 will see him bag a goal for your team if the power is activated. I'm not going to give anything else away about his power as I don't want to reveal any more for fear of it ruining the surprise of the game, and how you create chances for him to score will also be revealed later.

Hahaha, he doesn't exist in the game as yet Krazy. A Swindon player could be included though if you sign up. There will be a mix of big names and lower league players.

Well this sounds interesting... Sounds like you've adapted 1FF Wars into a proper football game Sounds like it could be great if it works.

I'd love to play, but I have concerns... mainly being that in the last two games I signed up for, I had no hope of being around for specific deadlines. So, will there be specific times people need to be online?

Funnily enough, right now I'm free as fuck... I quit my job just before xmas, so I could be on here whenever. The issue is, I quit that job to start a new job in Bristol soon (yes, I'm becoming a dirty northerner) so I've got to arrange a whole fucking move, which will mean that time is soon to become very limited indeed. I mean, I'll still be able to come on and do stuff, but I'm not sure about coming on at set times and what not.

As you know Oaf, Wars didn't really require set times other than to lock in locations. This will be free of that as I want to make it as user friendly as possible. Other things will replace the locations to make the game more in depth. You'll be fine to play mate.

Fantastic. Ideally we'll have 8 teams so 24 sign ups would be great. If not then a minimum of 16 will see this go ahead and it will be teams of 2 if we hit that exact number.

Anything between 16-24 will see some 2's and some 3's. You will also decide your own teammates as I think that works better than me drawing the teams.

Oh god, this is going to bring back bad memories of school. Picking teams and I am still stood next to the wall whilst the game starts before a teacher ushers me onto a team against the backdrop of very audible moans and groans of the team I am thrown into
