Nice touch actually. Pretty pointless, but I appreciate it.

The Fantasy draft idea could be quite interesting actually. Probably the only feature revealed so far that has got me excited. Rest are just improvements on content already in the game.

This has a lot of potential to be the best FM ever made. This years had serious injury and match engine issues though. Get that right this time around and I see no reason why this can't be the best.

I'm still not gonna bother with it til january. Had a great save on FM 15 ruined by glitches, but it looks class

The create a club feature is pretty pointless seeing as you can just use the editor to make your club (& by the looks of things it'll be more in depth than the new feature too).

The 3D manager thing is a bit gimmicky & semi pointless.

Fantasy draft thing is a great feature though as is the new set piece creator

Fantasy draft looks like the sort of thing that I'll end up doing about 80 times with all of my mates but we'll only ever get like 2 games into each season before wanting to do it again.

STILL THOUGH.

EXCITE.

The only change really needed imo, and it's been that way for years, is in the other clubs' transfer policy. After a few seasons I always end up walking every competition because every team in the game seems to have crap scouts and stacks up average players. I won the Premier League with Southampton after two years because United, Chelsea, Arsenal etc keep selling their best players to Barca, Bayern and Real Madrid.

As part of the injury revamp announced yesterday - player insurance is in #FM16. So when players get injured, their salaries are insured.

In #FM16 any players who are still active (non-retired) can return for former teammate's testimonials

In #FM16 there is more advice on what to do with new signings who don't qualify for a work permit

In #FM16 top players will be more likely to retire while they're still in their prime

That's good, sort of. Cristiano Ronaldo still dominating when he's 40 is stupid, but why should he still be in his 'prime' anyway? They need declining physical abilities to have more of an impact on performances, not 40-year-olds being carried by their unreal technical and mental attributes.

I totally agree. This has been an issue for several FM releases. The modern day top players just carry on being brilliant well into their late 30s. The regens rarely catch up or over take. FM12 or 13 games where Lampard, Rooney, Gerrard and Terry are still dominating the PL aged 38.

I'm not really sure how this is 'improved'. It's all the same information, just re-organised on the screen, and I don't think the re-organisation makes it any simpler.

Strikes me as a change for the sake of change.

Is anyone considering getting this on the day of release? Could get a network game going or something.

I won't be getting it on release day, it's usually a buggy mess until around Christmas.

I usually get it on release weekend and have a mess about on it for half a season then start on it properly a week or so later.

They usually release a patch a few days after release date.

I think my project on this game will be to sort out the complete and utter mess that is Torquay United.

Undecided whether to restrict myself to youth academy only though. Have a feeling it's going to be hard enough without that...:mell:

They never officially announce it until the day it happens, but in recent years it has always been 2 weeks before release. So expecting next Friday.

If it's next Friday I'll be very annoyed / pleased.

Got the day off that day, but meant to be taking the missus on a weekend away...

Might have to find some reason to be stuck at home with the laptop.

I've just discovered a potential problem. Apparently my laptop doesn't meet the minimum system requirements to run FM 2016.

It would appear I need 256 MB of dedicated video RAM, yet my laptop only has 128 MB. Can anyone tell me if this is going to be a significant problem?

EDIT: actually, I've just had a thought. It's ever since I downloaded the update to full release that my away form has nose dived. Anyone else had any issues since full release?
