GONE.

Only joking. :smug:

It is in fact five years ago today that Lord Hill took over at Woking FC. From mid-table Conference South to the edge of the Conference Play-Offs.

Part-time, 300k budget. No £3m investment like Eastleigh needed.

And apparently, not a single club in this division would want him as their manager. :woo:

Long live the King.

I seriously doubt whatever Hill says regarding how much money he is spending.

Doesn't mean he's not achieved with you lot of course. He's still a Steve Evans though.

Keep posting about your 300k budget, who knows, you may even believe it soon....

Whilst I am still basking in the tinpottery of this thread, that coming from a fan who have had managers spaff Fort Knox up the wall season upon season to remain in this division is a scandal.

Mods permission to drive them all off a cliff please?

Come on, you can't attack a fan for an opinion on something their club does unless they try to defend it when it's their club. I don't think FGR fans are going around saying any of their recent managers have achieved anything.

Three years ago yesterday Chris Kinnear took over a mid-table Conference South Dover Athletic.
In his first half-season we lost the play off final. In his first full season we got to the FA Cup Second Round, and won promotion to the Conference. In his second season we finished 8th in the Conference, lost to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup 3rd round and got to the FA Trophy Semi-Final. This season we are currently 4th and still in the FA Trophy.

Not bad for a part time side with a dinosaur manager :2thumb:

The fan of a rich man's plaything (defunct) defending the fan of another rich man's plaything. No surprises there then.

I think the main issue is that saying Garry has done nothing for us is absolutely ridiculous.......

Yeah, if only we had Pennock at the helm...

Getting us into the play offs and currently 2 points off the top? May not be the most popular man but still has a better record than Hill in just over two years he's been here :bdick::bdick:

Couldn't care less about his popularity. He's got a League One budget, and he chooses to play turgid long-ball stuff - and not even effectively enough to get the job done. Anyway, I'm sure most fans of other clubs in the division are happy to see him remain in charge.

With about £5 million quid more and a full time squad. If I had to choose between Hill and Pennock to be our next manager, it would be Hill everytime. As long as he kept his gob shut.

If you didn't spend all your money on that God awful looking pointless stand you might of had a bigger budget... Woking always pretending to be a big club, pathetic :)
