Donny unlucky not to end their losing streak last weekend and so without a win in 2016 will be fully confident of ending their winless 2016 with a visit to Giggle Lane. This win will have no effect on their survival prospects as after beating us they will pick up where they left off before visiting Bury and continue losing and stuttering towards the basement division.
Both clubs share a bond with farcical goings on off the pitch. Donny I thought you were past all that with that lifelong supporter bloke who bought you in 1999 but things have gone a tad odd in recent years at the Keepmoat.
This week our board have opened up some communication with fans so hopefully this will be the start of a more open relationship between club and supporters....I live in hope. I do take Donny's recovery circa 1998 onwards as a ray of hope as well should things really go belly up at Bury, anyway I digress.
We are on 51 points and just need that victory to end any lingering relegation doubts, heart says 2-0 home win with a Lowe brace, head says 0-2 loss with a pathetic defensive performance.
