Heading home now. I thought we had the best of the game up until the red card and then took control. Gillingham didnt offer that much but were without Dack and looked like they could benefit from a surging midfielder. JET looked like more of a handful at our place a few weeks ago. Fans seemed to have lost patience once we went in front.

We still lack invention and a ruthless edge in the final third so didn't learn too much. I'd still like to see Hemmings and Taylor play up front together to see if that gives us anything.

I quite liked the Gillingham ground and the away end isn't as bad as it's hyped up to be. Supporters quite chatty on the walk back to the car too. Good luck for the rest of the season, don't take a relegation space meant for Tim Sherwood.
