After 9 years and 42 injuries stretching over 1554 days, the big man is being released by Arsenal.

Why would he quit if he can earn a contract somewhere else? Doesn't seem very sensible to me if he desires to play football.

He was injured basically 50% of the time he was at Arsenal. That's mighty impressive.

He can desire playing all he likes but do we have the technology to rebuild him?

I hope he remains in the Premier League. Newcastle maybe?

If you can't keep him fit then we've got no chance. We're going English this season anyway, the French revolution is over.

We'd have won the CL final in 2006 had Diaby been fit. Feckin' Dan Smith.

Long may his legend persist. I'll tell me grandkids stories of the time Abou Diaby kicked John Terry and didn't even pull a muscle.

Bilo's workload directly corresponds to how shite Liverpool are, the Ings signing must have cleared his desk.
This obsession of yours is starting to genuinely worry me. Are you ok Dessie? Are you getting out enough?

Wonder if the modern day sicknote will continue to play in England? Someone will snap him up for his experience right?

Rumours going around he might stay on a pay to play basis.

So he'll cost you about £3.75 for the season then.

I would like that. I remember when he was out for ages and then came back to destroy Liverpool before getting injured again. If he can keep coming back to a high level in between his injuries then I'd be all for keeping him about on that kind of deal.

Diaby could have been so good if it weren't for the fact he's made out of meringue. Surprised to he didn't get told to go away sooner.
