This will be the first time these 2 teams have ever met as Stevenage were promoted to the football league in 2010 as we were being relegated from it.

Currently 4-2 with 5 minutes to go. Gutted that I'm not there today as it looks like a decent game.

Haven't enjoyed a game at Blundell Park that much in a long long time. Omar Bogle absolutely ran the show. If he keeps that up there's no chance we'll keep him in January.

Hopefully the Bogle chopping and changing has been put to bed now, cracking win. Feel like the first few games are going to sum up our season, defensive mistakes costing us big time when we don't score enough goals but when we take our chances we'll bag a few.

Didn't listen today but post match Hurst said we played a lot better last week!

Good to see we took our chances this week, good job as well seen as we let another 2 in from defensive lapses, and Hurst wasn't comfortable at 4-1. If we keep conceding like this we will need to put chances away like today otherwise we will lose a lot more than we win.

Great for Omar too, he's is developing nicely and hopefully he goes on to make us a lot of money some day.

Bogle was fantastic today but also Dom Vose was superb.
That 2nd half was just an incredible all round performance where we looked like scoring at every attack and Stevenage seemed shell shocked by it.
For the first 15 minutes though it was all Stevenage our first goal was totally against the run of play I didn't see a 5 - 2 coming back then!

I actually thought Berrett has looked the better of the two so far but Summerfield was very good today. He had the freedom to push forward and link up play while Disley kept watch at the back. I can see a good partnership forming there.

Really enjoyed that today, my friend commented that the fans seem a little more relaxed this season even when things haven't been going our way......something to do with that non-league monkey off our backs now! Lots of goals and Omar Bogle starting to show his talent more regularly. UTM

Bogle was unplayable. Stevenage defence massively aided his cause though, just allowing him free will. Dom Vose also silenced his critics today. I've not been impressed with Summerfield, though I've realised that when we pass the ball, he's good. When we hoof, he is completely anonymous.

Our defence still looks very shaky and Mckeown either needs dropping or some competition. Ashley Chambers is a lot better as a winger than a striker.

If Stevenage can sort their defence out, they'll be alright.

I thought Stevenage were very poor. The only team we have played who looked decent to me were Colchester. They had some power, strength and above all some nous about them

Agree - I was a bit (too) rude about Summerfield's first touch after the first game - thought he could only be a destructive player to break up the oppo rather than create for us. However, Berrett whose first touch looks better doesn't seem to have found a slot in the team yet with PH using him as a makeshift wide player.
