We badly need a win after 3 defeats on the bounce, I love a Boxing Day game me so really looking forward to this one.
I'm hoping Bignot gives Disley a game with the way our midfield has been (under) performing, I think having Dis in there will give everybody a lift.
I've told my son that we cannot go to this one when I've actually got him a ticket as a bit of a stocking filler so I can't wait to see his face when he opens his card and realises that we are going to this one.
Prediction a cautious 2 - 1 victory, UTM.

While we've not been playing the best recently it's hard to play against the best teams in the league so hopefully we just keep doing what we're doing and don't let the bad form effect us. We do need to win this one though or this imaginary Bignot Out brigade will probably become reality.

I think we'll manage it. 2-0 home win.

Bignot really has to buck his ideas up for me here. He has inherited a fantastic squad from the right honourable Paul Hurst. If he can't harness the huge potential of the likes of Summerfield and Berrett then we need to be asking questions and, believe you me, I will be voicing those concerns if we aren't leading at least a few by the 15 minute mark. I've got my ticket for right behind the dugout behind Bignot in the Main Stand and I'm gonna be trying to smuggle my loudspeaker in, which I can't wait to use when we inevitably go 1-0 down. Currently sacking off wrapping presents to work on a "BIGNOT OUT" banner and I will be trying to get #lestweforgetpaulhurst trending over the next few days.

Well good job we were playing Accrington because that was shocking. Our midfield made theirs look like Barcelona. None existant ours was and Veron has no idea how to head a ball. Thank God for two wingers that managed to get in behind and score one on ones.

Our favourite ref was his usual amazing self too.

Dean Henderson started in goal for us today and he was fantastic, commanded his box brilliantly and made a couple of terrific saves.
How the hell we won that 2 - 0 God only knows but for how bad we were, our effort could not be faulted and I think we made our own luck today with a couple of outstanding tackles/blocks in our box when Accrington looked certain to score. (One from the much maligned Summerfield)
Bignot said after Doncaster last week that it's all about results now and he would happily take a scrappy 1 - 0 win and we went one better with a scrappy 2 - 0 win so delighted with that!

I thought we were shit to put it plainly, they were okay. Dean Henderson and Danny Andrew were both sublime and were my pick of the bunch. Summerfield had two spells of being utter shite and two spells of actually being really good. Vernon was average which is better than normal. I found Henderson's reception to be quite strange, he's played one game for us and was treated like a king. Not a bad thing mind but I did find it odd.

Important win regardless of the performance, I think it's plain as day where we need to strengthen.

I took the Deano chants as being from armchair Man U fans.

Like you say very strange, he did well without having a great deal to do, apart from one crucial save at 1-0 in the second half, now sure why he deserved the chants though.

Collins amd Andrew were both excellent and the two wingers took their chance well, the rest were pretty much non existant and a better side would have punished us.

What is the reason for the Rhys Browne compassionate leave does anyone know? I had high hopes for him at the start of the season but we've hardly seen him.

I've lost count the number of times we've played OK but not scored - a lot of the stanley fans are now very worried about how this season is going to go now. Not nice to see a number of our fans getting on the players backs but 2 goals in 9 games would piss any fan off surely...

You were easily the better team yesterday, for the entire second half it seemed only a matter of time before you equalised but luckily for us you just couldn't finish, but the way you passed it around there is no way you will get relegated.
