Is this "cheating"?

Verbally distracting an opponent is a caution per the laws of the game so there is little room for debate

It's a foul, but it's so funny that it shouldn't be.

Something else that caught my eye and maybe I am wrong.

A Watford player went through on goal. May have been Chalobah. Had acres of space. To my eyes the last Bournemouth defender tripped a second Watford player also breaking away as he run past. If they'd had a 2-on-1 then it would have been a near certain goal, so thought he was ridiculously lucky to escape punishment.

It's just clever play, teams need to come up with codes to use on a per game basis or something.

Seen Watford fans on Twitter calling this 'absolutely pathetic' and 'sinking to new lows'. FFS lads, you won the game.

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
Most clubs have code words for leaving balls to others better placed, and other routine situations. You don't just shout 'leave it' (which I understood to be what Harry shouted). If Watford don't have codes, or haven't told a new player about their codes, then they need to look at that. Anyone who plays 5-a-side or sunday league will know this happens.

It is a bookable offense if the ref caught it though, there's no defending Arter from that. And I think an indirect free kick would have been the result from it (any laws of the game bods feel free to correct me!). I'd like to think Howe had a word with Arter if he knew about it, because of course we wouldn't want that happening to us if the roles were reversed. And Arter doesn't need to risk any more bookings than he already gets.

Being up the other end of the pitch I had no idea what that strange moment was all about until I heard about it after the game on social media, because Watford fans were kicking up a stink. To be honest, if it wasn't Bournemouth and the past encounters we've had, I very much doubt Watford fans would have mentioned it at all.

Cook was booked for that - was annoying at the time but as Paul says we did win in the end!

Hence my they probably wished they'd done the same trick when Caopue was shooting for example.

Just wanted to see what people thought of it - Mark is right though.

We probably made less of a fuss had it been against any other team!
