England will never get knocked out by being beaten off a better team. So what typical exit will it be for the 3 lions at the Euro's?

Where's the 'Distracted by the revealing but not really helpful tabloid article' option?

I'm going with too tired, as banging on about a winter break appears to be the new cool thing to complain constantly about.

Luis Suarez changes nationalities and bites Chris Smalling.
Also, this is unrelated, but can't Gerrard and Lampard play? Haven't heard anything about them.

Tbh you lot enjoy it as well as you can stop fretting on whether Wayne Rooney will turn up or if Hodgson will do anything but play defensively rubbish stuff, and you could just enjoy watching the Germans (or probably the French this time) win it. ;)

I'll tell you now - Rooney won't turn up.

France and Germany are two enjoyable teams to watch - I've always enjoyed watching the Germans actually. Apart from when they were drawn against England, of course.

They were dire in '90, though tbh, most teams were in that tournament. Went off the Germans after Muller and co letting Shane Long - Shane fucking Long!! - allow to beat them and hence give us no chance of qualifying for these Euro's. I've always had a soft spot for France as well though and the last two times a tournament has been held on French soil, they have went on to win it. A bit light up front this time if they are punting Benzema, but the rest of the side is very strong and they have a hell of a chance at it again.

I'm cheering on Austria and anyone but England as usual Toddles, even fucking Wales when they play them! :D

I don't blame anyone for hating England and it's hyping media from our arrogant and stupidly named 'golden generation' years, but this is a new England era now and they appear to mostly be a decent bunch of lads with energy and enthusiasm.

I think it's funny how whenever Scotland and the other British Isles nations are in tournaments, most of us English will want them to do well, except for when we ever play against them of course!

So why you guys still bitter towards us? Even when we're not playing you? :dk:

I don't mind the players tbh (apart from one or two), even during the 'golden generation'; but the media has always been over the top and its too much every tournament constantly hearing about the least little things, picking it apart; showing disrespect towards the opponents and the arrogance by some. It has calmed down a bit since South Africa, but it only needs a flukey win against an under-par Germany in a friendly for some in the press to start saying its Englands year, and its nauseating and tiring hearing the same stuff over and over again.

Hell, who doesn't get sick of our media?!

I can't argue with you on that one.

Top the group, including convincingly beating Wales to put them in their place. Win the last 16 and then out in the quarters on penalties, again. Which, with our squad, would be perfectly decent.

Although, looking at the draw, that would mean likely facing the Group F winners, so Portugal, Austria, Iceland or Hungary. So actually, losing that once we'd got to that stage would be a bit disappointing. Semis it is then!

so do you think the winner of group F will beat Belgium or Italy?

Winner of Group F plays a third placed team if I'm not mistaken?

Ah no, I stand corrected.

Sorry guys, I knew I should of added an 'England embarrassingly get beat off the smallest nation' option.
