Any form of racist, sexism, homophobic behaviour is not acceptable, however embarrassing it might be for the club it’s absolutely correct that the person responsible is found and punished accordingly.

Sadly this happens at all clubs, and for anyone to think it’s something endemic just to mansfield is sadly sorely mistaken - not trying to shield the blame but to think this wouldn’t happen at a chesterfield a county a grimsby or whoever is crazy.

Look at the behaviour of fans this weekend, the dick of a leicester fan, the accrington fan that ran on the pitch - it’s a worrying trend.

There has been a marked rise in this behaviour across the board in the country in the last 5 years (i dare say not aided by this ridiculous government), whereas some of this might be due to better reporting and awareness which of course is a good thing, there’s no denying that it’s sadly on the rise - this is also highlighted by minorities feeling that they’re more at risk now than 5 years ago - which is not the direction a country should be going in.

We can all have petty arguments on a message board on who’s better or gets what attendances, but for me this is one thing where all football fans across the spectrum should be united on.

As ever it’s the retarded few which give the many a bad name, they’re no football fan.
