Basically, he was the first one of our academy graduates to run his contract down and go for a tribunal-set fee. I'm not sure he was ever as good as Dario thought but I think Dario felt that if he'd signed a new contract and stayed for another year or two he could have gone to a better team and we'd have got more more money for him. The feeling was that he went for the money and should have stayed for another year or two. Dario thought he could have played for England but I think he probably made the most of his ability tbh.Forgive him for what? haha, guy has about 120 Premier League appearances under his belt since leaving and almost 200 in the Championship. Plus you got a million for a right back.
Yeah, Dario Gradi was on drugs, he was nothing special. Not sure how playing every week in L1 would have been more beneficial to playing every week in the Championship.Basically, he was the first one of our academy graduates to run his contract down and go for a tribunal-set fee. You a Preston fan? You must have had a superb team for that period if one of your average players went on to forge a fairly impressive Premier League career over the next 5 years.Yeah, Dario Gradi was on drugs, he was nothing special. Was pretty average for the most part with us, bar one really good season and did well to make it as a squad player in the top flight. He did ok for himself and used the system well to move up the ladder.
We're going for Michael MacIntyre, we need another clown in defence. We're rumoured to have Michael Mancienne on trial after his return from the US.
Seen plenty of average-to-decent players go on to do ok in the Premier League (Dickson bloody Etuhu & Josh Brownhill right now), but yeah, we had some good players back then. You a Preston fan? Looks like we're about to announce another signing. No idea who.

Yep, Walker is back. I wouldn't pick him ahead of Kirk, Powell or Dale but there's been some tired legs recently and I'm sure he'll play a part. And we know he'll work his socks off.
We’ve rejected two bids from Charlton for our young winger, Joel Randall. Bowyer said the bids were in region of £300K but we want near £1M.
He’s a real talent and no way we’d sell for peanuts.
If you put a lot of crosses in the box then he'll probably bag a few in League One, might even be fairly prolific in the right team. Championship was a step too far for him.Think Bowyer has confirmed we won’t be going back for another nibble.
Stockley to be confirmed later today I think, happy enough with that and hopefully means we’re unlikely to see much of Omar Bogle in a Charlton shirt ever again.
Yeah Taylor has said he doesn’t expect Randall to leave this month unless there is a silly bid.Think Bowyer has confirmed we won’t be going back for another nibble.

We'll see, you don't often see us go with that kind of striker, but I wouldn't be opposed to the idea. It's healthy to have options and he's bound to get plenty of games.Daniel Powell is not better than Ste Walker. Also, I think he’s here as a Striker, not a winger.
We’ll kick the shit out of him tomorrow.Confirmed, looks like there's an option to make it permanent in the summer.
Doesn't need an excuse to claim for a free kick. We’ll kick the shit out of him tomorrow.

I might be wrong, but I’m going off what Warnock said a few days ago. That he was recalled from MK so they could send him back out again to a club that will play him more. So there must be at the very least a gentleman’s agreement for him to play a fair bit (I’m not saying we HAVE to play him or anything like that). The more obvious route into the team IMO is sharing duties with Mandron. I do think he could play that role by himself. He’s quite stocky and strong. We'll see, you don't often see us go with that kind of striker, but I wouldn't be opposed to the idea. It's healthy to have options and he's bound to get plenty of games.

Linked with us tooWe're hoping for a loan signing before the Plymouth game on Tuesday. Bakayoko from Coventry mooted.
Any other fans and I would listen to them and be pretty worried. Blackpool fans don't have the best track record though, going off Nolan and Nottingham.Signed Anthony Evans on loan from Paderborn in Germany. Former Everton youth who had a not very successful loan spell at Blackpool.
