He had an excellent loan at Newport that was a bit more than some long range strikes - he created the most chances in the division up to that point which is what sparked people’s interest more than the goals I think. Someone did a big analysis of him around January (one of those analytics bods on Twitter trying to use the platform to break into the game at a club) that basically said he’s good but probably not ready for the championship just yet.

Haven’t heard too much about him since his return to Swindon though.

I think we were interested as we need to get these sorts of players before they get too much of a reputation and bigger clubs start getting involved.

He’s been largely ineffective - but then again, in such a poor team as ours that’s maybe not surprising.

Being honest, I don’t think he’s anywhere near Championship standard. Someone may take a punt and hope he improves, but he’s not a really a youngster, he’s 22 now. I’d imagine wherever he ends up he’ll be loaned out to a L1 club.

I wouldn’t be fussed if he left - along with the rest of the festering turds.

He got a superb assist at the weekend!!

Yeah he's been pretty crap recently, occasionally pulls out a superb bit of skill or a lovely long range pass so there is something about him potentially if coached well. As to whether he's Champ standard, probably not what we have seen, but I do think there could be a very good player in there. Almost certainly needs to leave us to fulfill it though.

We've signed Marcus McGuane on a 3 year deal for an undisclosed fee from Nott'm Forest. Very happy with this.

Just need to get him fit for next season as once he'd adjusted this season to L1 he was influencing games for us from the middle, something we missed after his injury.

Terrific signing. As League One midfielders go, he's up there. A brilliant player for this level.

Excellent bit of business and very surprised Forest were prepared to sell him without Chris Hughton apparently ever seeing him play live.

I actually think his injury has done us a favour, as if he'd stayed fit all season, and continued in the form he was in, there's no way we'd have got him, he'd have gone much higher!

Our 17-year old LB, who started the season as first choice, appears to be spending time on trial at Southampton and is playing in their U18 fixtures.

Signed a three-year pro-contract last summer so we'll avoid the dreaded EPPP if they want to take him.

Rumours that Russell Martin was there to see Mullin yesterday. The official reason he was at Cambridge was because of Boateng who’s there on loan from us but he’s off in the summer so I can’t see that being true

I would imagine Mullin is going to get a big choice of league one and two clubs. Plymouth have no chance geographically.

I would love him to give us one more year but am already resigned to losing him and I can't blame him. He will be getting offered much bigger money and rightly so after scoring 32 goals.

Ironside who does all the donkey work for him is here for another year so his replacement will have plenty of space and chances to score goals. Mullin must pick carefully who he signs for because the team was built around him scoring goals. Also the magician Wes Hoolahan in behind supplying the chances isn't too bad either.

He needs to play in a two as well so if you play one up top forget it.

Darling was there too and in amongst the celebrations too which is great to see. Robbie Cundy was also there all night celebrating who was taken from us in Jan to go to Gillingham. I can see him coming back to the abbey next season now we’re promoted.

Seen us linked with Mullin on Twitter. But I’d be very shocked if that was true.

Cundy is pretty good isn’t he, is he out of contract this summer?

Top player. Way too good for league two and has recently signed a new deal with Bristol City. I was gutted he got pulled but that’s football and understand why they wanted him to play higher.

Videos of him jumping around with the boys signing we are going up is convincing me he’s coming back next season. Just wishful thinking though.

I sense it’s going to be a long summer waiting to find out who Mullin signs for. Praying it’s us but we’ll be smashed out the water on wages by someone.

Lewis Montsma being watched by Cardiff amongst others apparently. Mick McCarthy's been spotted at a handful of our games recently so that adds up.

Darling certainly played like he’d been out on the lash the night before our game yesterday  what a signing he’s been by the way, won our Young Player of the Year deservedly despite only being here half the season.

First bit of business over the line for us. Mark Bonner has signed a 3 year contract. Much deserved and protects us should a bigger club come calling. It will happen at some point. Modern day manager which seems to be the way forward for a lot of clubs these days.

I've got a feeling we'll keep Mullin for another year, and that would give us more leeway to give him a very good pay rise without potentially screwing us in future years, but obviously be zero surprise if he goes. Knoyle will go I am sure, and he'd be a far smarter pick up for someone than Mullin will be.

If Mullin does go I struggle to believe it'll be to anyone in L2 (unless Salford chuck £4k a week at him), and you'd think he'll have the pick of most of that cluster of teams from east to west starting at Crewe and ending at Fleetwood (including Blackpool if they don't go up). Hard to see anyone else in play given the geographical restrictions that seem to be placed on him, I'd be disappointed if he picked another southern team over us even if they are offering more than we can.

Also, fantastic news extending Bonner, if not surprising. Healthy release clause in there I expect.

We are trying to sign Jordan Houghton who will leave MK Dons when his contract expires. DM isn't he?

He is, he can play CB as well when needed.

One of those that was unfortunate with an injury at a time we improved our CM options massively. I'd have loved to keep him myself, he's a top bloke and a really good footballer but it would have only been for sentimental reasons. He would be an excellent signing for you.

We signed Doyle and Sarcevic from promoted clubs because they wanted to move back to the North West/closer to families etc. I could genuinely see Mullin at Salford like you suggested and on this season’s form he could transform them to title contenders as they already had the best defensive record in the league. Wouldn’t be surprised if we had a look either to be honest with his record this season. It’s minimal risk on a free.

Wouldn't mind us taking a punt on Mullin as a bench option, can't do much worse than Nugent or Moult who we got zero minutes out of this season.

I'd like to think we'd have a good chance of recouping at least £500k for Stockley this summer.

8 in 22 for Charlton, plus assists.

Surely any L1 side with top six aspirations would be interested.

He was in the local press this week saying he wanted to stay here permanently.

Not those exact words but was along the lines of enjoying his time here and hoping he gets the chance to play for Charlton in front of fans.

Tell a lie, it was The Sun.

“What I can say is I absolutely am loving my time here.

“And this hopefully isn’t the end of my time playing for Charlton.

“If it works for everyone, I would love it. I feel I have so much to give and these are my prime years.”

Be stunned if we don’t make some sort of offer.
