Most injury prone player we've ever had and we've had a few. I'd actually be surprised if he avoids early retirement based on the injuries he's suffered here. Obviously hope that's not the case and he gets a bit of luck.

Before that, he was decent. Strong, good touch, nice link up and good movement in the box, classic poacher.

His goals to minutes ratio was actually very good for us. Pretty much 1 in every 2 games.

Well liked behind the scenes too which always helps.

Will be keeping an eye on him.
Louis Moult out for 5 months.

Fuck.

Troy Parrott is reportedly having a medical at stadium:mk. Personally I'm not sure we need another striker, but I'll definitely take him.
Troy Parrott signs on loan for the season and Josh McEachran resigning for us after leaving it so long because of Covid. Not a bad evening at all!

you dont pay your wages................been there got the tee shirt

It was all resolved last month and everyone has been paid in full. Signed 6 and the squad is looking fairly decent for L1. Nobody is panicking.

I’m not denying anything. It’s a shambles. But our situation is not comparable to Bolton’s, we have never been skint. We broke FFP and paid the consequences. Paying the players wages was a case of wouldn’t, not couldn’t.

You’re so boring, we went in to admin in ‘95 with debts around £200k. It’s not comparable.

I have never defended our debt...................not to the layman
I certainly dont agree on football creditors being paid up full

You just sprout the same boring crap out.................It is the system that is at fault
until this is addressed it will continue

Our debt in ‘95 had absolutely nothing to do with modern day rules. You just bring it up because you’re an attention seeking moron.

so you post it twice just to seek some attention..........Where are rules mentioned
So let me get this right...........you say our punishment for going into administration of minus 12 points and a transfer embargo is not enough yet you went into administration and received no punishment is ok.

Dont know why you got involved as it was Shef Wed that got mentioned and two posts from there fans give a creditable reply.
PS dont whine the next time i reply to you if you personally attack me again.

We're thin on the ground at the moment, admittedly. However, I've liked the Cowley's signings so far and I think they are going about it in the right way. They're certainly not rushing anything and just bringing in "squad-fillers" for the sake of it. They've gone for quality overall, which has admittedly seen us miss out and be outbid on plenty of players (e.g. Stockley, Edmundson etc). It's disappointing but shows that they are after the right kind of player. I'm happy to be patient and wait until the end of the window to see where we are then. It's a long season.

One game changer will be if we get some decent money for Ronan Curtis. He wants Championship football and there seem to be some interested parties but nothing solid yet. Any money raised will go straight back into the playing budget.
It'll get easier with Cowley. It'll feel a struggle with his transfer dealings initially I imagine because he refuses to compromise on the profile of player he wants.

When we were in the NL there wasn't a transfer window so he could tweak the squad as and when he felt it was needed but he can't do that in the EFL. But, after a couple of transfer windows, you'll end up with a squad where he'll then be able to target two or three key areas and be very specific in his recruitment.

Callum McFadzean signed on a 1 year deal. I expect Adebisi to start as our number one left back, but looks decent cover, especially as he can also fill in as a centre back. Sunderland fans not very complimentary about him at all, but I remember him being decent at Plymouth.

Sunderland fans aren’t complimentary about any of their players. None of them are any good - ever.

Florian Kamberi announced. Ex Hibs and Rangers. It’s a striker but doesn’t look a very good one!

Aye, that's why I quoted my previous post.

I don't think he'll be playing when he's 30.
I’ve heard we were close to getting Moult but he chose Burton. Very happy we didn’t sign him as he’s obviously completely broken. Feel for him though!

You’re on ignore, like I should have done a while ago.

Enjoy winding no one up.

Difference being that we played him as a wingback, Sunderland played him as a fullback.
