Hopefully a change of club will bring him a change of luck. Honest player who is a real handful for defences on his day. Don't expect too many goals from him but would work well in a front two with a goalscorer, if he can stop getting injured.

Sky are reporting that the transfer of our left back Tayo Edun to Blackburn for half a million is done. That fits our model now - pick up youngsters cheap (I think he was free), trsut in MApp to improve them, and then sell them on for a fat profit. Now we just need a new left back.....

In other news we’ve signed Mattie Pollock from Watford on loan. They signed him from Grimsby in the summer for £250k and put him on a 5 year deal so they obviously see something in him.

A good move - hopefully he will do well.

We sign a lot of youngsters but they never really seem to get much of a chance tbh.

Probably depends on if we stay up or not.

Not sure he will fancy the move though, he's reportedly on 15 k a week also, can't see us contributing much towards that, but Brentford are keen to put him in the shop window so may pay his wages.
