Fedora Dale - any views on Rhys Norrington-Davies who has just signed for us. Believe he was on loan with you last season.

I can help... He was excellent for us last season, and I would have had him back in a heartbeat. I'm almost certain he will be able to do a good job for you.

McCormick injured so we are in the market (loan) for a keeper.

Has Palmer signed for Lincoln yet?

You can’t play both Nugent and Doyle together. Doyle needs to do very little other than hang around in the penalty area. He needs an energetic workhorse in tandem - as in Yates last year - to do all the running for him.

A couple of years ago we had Marc Richards, probably the best lower league goal scorer of recent years. But he was 36 and his legs were gone. You can’t have 2 non runners/workers in the same team.
Exacttly...we will have insurance if Doyle is injured. Plus you cannot expect Doyle to play around 50 odd games in a season
I'm pleased to see Bolton taking a refreshing approach of signing young, hungry and affordable players with possible resale value rather than overpaid has-beens. Definitely sensible financial management and very sustainable.
you need experience.....our players that will start Saturday with the exception of Doyle and baptiste will be under 30

So Nugent is happy to be Doyle’s understudy?

"Under 30" isn't inexperienced. Whereas any side with an average age getting on for 30 is way too old. Our starting side will average around 24 but no shortage of experience in it. The oldest is 27 - and he has 305 career appearances under his belt.

we will play two in a week....not three with a squad under 21 who got Bullied and when i say under 21 3 were 16 4 17 kids really........get over it. Wish we played you this season

Going to be quite entertaining if we are allowed to travel against Harrowgate.
Always thought Yorkshire lads were fair, but Doncaster are certainly the exception

I was taking the piss pal, as were your lot last season but it’s been done to death, try smiling and see it for what it is.

Just like nobbers when uncle Eddie goes

No idea who Eddie is.

But our current owner Trevor Hemmings has already installed his son as chairman for when he steps down though.

Can't say i'm too worried.

No, it's Alex Woodyard. Pigott is 26. Ollie Palmer is the oldest probable starter at 28 but not fit yet. Staying up will do me, but without getting carried away and looking at the other squads around we may even reach the dizzy heights of lower mid table this year.

We have "Tabled a bid" for a striker who is "as good as it gets at this level."

Looks like we’re signing a 3rd keeper called Jack Ruddy. Been at a few clubs. Some of them in Spain, interestingly.
