Nah, he's still crap.

Him & Lindsay looked good in the first ten games because we played 10 men behind the ball, had a back three, Whiteman effectively playing as a 4th centre back, and Potts rarely leaving his half covering him at RWB.

Any League One bum that could head or kick would have done fine.

He came back in for Diaby (who is much better) against Birmingham and cost us a goal by just being flat out bullied at the back post. Plus he's shocking on the ball.

Our defence is generally wank bar that bizarre run of 7 games at the start of the season. Andrew Hughes is the only good one.

Nlundulu is better than Baka. Adeboyejo has now been confirmed too, so that’s two strikers we have currently in top 8 of League One’s top goal scorers.
Jerome brings in a wealth of experience to help up top now that Bodvarsson is out for the season.

Devine from Spurs is coming in next week to bolster midfield.

Signed a wing back from the championship.

Alright, we’ve let Dapo go but that’s football at this level.

Nlundulu is better than Baka. Adeboyejo has now been confirmed too, so that’s two strikers we have currently in top 8 of League One’s top goal scorers.
Jerome brings in a wealth of experience to help up top now that Bodvarsson is out for the season.

Devine from Spurs is coming in next week to bolster midfield.

Signed a wing back from the championship.

I loved Dapo but he wasn’t suited to playing up front or as 10 really. He was only really productive on the left which is a position we don’t play anymore in this system. The squad is much stronger… just because he’s 36 doesn’t mean he’s not still quality for this level. Hoolahan was ripping up the league below at 40. He’ll be a great mentor and character for the younger players and a quality option off the bench. He’s head and shoulders above Bakayoko. Luton fans didn’t want him to leave but he wanted to be closer to home.

Some fans are just absolutely fucking clueless… look at his age and write him off. At least watch him play before making a judgement. And look at the evolution of the squad as a whole since the start of last season… Doyle, delfouneso and Baka as forward options. Now look who we’ve got.

Partly but also think if we don’t go up we are in a stronger position than we were starting this season especially with the permanent signings. Will be difficult to replace Trafford and Bradley whatever division we are in

Kevin Davies did well for us in this league aged 37. Couldn't score for shit but he was a good option when you wanted to see out games, and Joe Garner seemed to improve his all-round game when he came in.

There will be much derision about Jerome signing due to his age probably, can’t lie I was the same when he signed for us as well but he’s not the player you think he is. He is still pretty fast, runs the channels well and wins a ton of stuff in the air. He’s very athletic, not your usual stand between the posts 36 year old that doesn’t move well.

Don’t get me wrong he won’t be doing too many full 90s but as an option off the bench or the odd start he’s great value. I’m a bit disappointed we’ve let him go as he can more than do that job for us in the level above this. Plus I think Bolton have a few striker signings this window and he’s a great leader for those sorts of player.

Seems quite a lot of £££ to me, he’s having a decent season but I’m far from convinced he’s what you’ll need, I’m gonna guess he’ll be loaned back out before the start of next season whatever lge you’ll be in.

I was referring to the comment above yours that said we’ve signed Jerome to replace Dapo. I meant we have signed 4 players since Dapo went that could all be considered replacements directly or indirectly. I should have worded it better.

I genuinely believe the squad has improved mate yeah. We haven’t moved on Bodvarsson, Iredale or Thomason they’re just injured? Bodvarsson is a miss but he hasn’t been available all season really and Thomason is back at end of Feb isn’t he? Nlundulu Jerome and Adeboyejo all better than Baka. I loved Dapo but I genuinely believe Shoretire is the real deal. He’ll definitely have a career in the premier league unless injuries prevent it… ability wise he’s unbelievable for his age. Dapo scored some important goals this season but his input is way down on last season because he’s just not as good when he doesn’t play left wing.

We need to replace Aimson and yeah left wing back is maybe a slight concern (I quite liked Beck). My major concern is if we sell Johnston to Stoke. That would be a huge blow and then I’d be more concerned. But so far I’m delighted.
