Any grounds with grassy knoll or similar vantage points where you can watch the game outside the stadium? You must be able to see a Stevenage game from the dual carriageway for instance

We had a few fans at the FGR cup game. Think they took a ladder, mind.

Why? The away capacity will be around 1,000 maximum at the best of times.
if allowed i would expect Bolton to be given two perhaps three sides.....money talks and can Harrowgate turn down 4000 fans at £25

If you're any good at climbing trees you can probably get a pretty decent view of the pitch at Salford

Mansfield have given 1700 tickets for the opening day game against Bristol Rovers. Any chance of Brovers selling them all.

It was a while back but Bristol rovers brought 1700 to vale on the opening day of the season around 15 years ago so it's possible they will sell out.

Doubt there's enough interest to get over 1000. Perhaps later in the season when the new team bed in.

Well tickets went on sale to season ticket holders this morning and as at 2 mins a go. 700 have been sold. Tomorrow the rest go on General sale. So I would assume the 1700 will easily sell out. We ourselves have a mini bus going and will hope to obtain tickets when we get there.

We have put Walsall tickets on sale today. We have given them an initial allocation of 1150, but more will be available if needed.

I thought you could only buy tickets on line and before the game

Not sure -- But I never buy away tickets prior to games. Always on the day at the club we are playing. Also ticket sales ended over the 1000 mark today.

Yes -- Had a look myself and believe you are right. Cannot be arsed to go through all that palava and will hope just by turning up they will let us in. If they don't I know a little pub near your ground anyway.

How is it that much of a palaver?

Not sure exactly how many we have left for Northampton now but at start of business yesterday had shifted just over 700 and requested the extra down the side ahead of general sale. I expect we’ll sell all 1300.

At this rate, most away ends will be full on the 7th Aug.

Great to see.
