Damn good effort for midweek considering the distance. Hats off to all that travelled

We have a fairly large group of Southern based fans, as well as the mental cases who travel down from Pools.

Only been allocated 700 tickets for Bristol Rovers! Wtf!

Should do the same for the return fixture.

That does seem awfully low? Thought the terrace held around 1100 as it was? Plus then the seating in the gazebo as well.

We didn’t get the full allocation from Northampton either for this weekend. Maybe the bit of trouble at Stevenage is the reason.

Return the favour, I reckon.

Unless it’s police advice it doesn’t really make much sense to limit the allocation. In the case of Rovers though if it really was a concern just move the kickoff time or something.

What was this trouble at Stevenage? To be honest having been there this season their stewards were acting like some right jobsworths so the word trouble comes with an asterisk for me. Got on their high horses due to some Vale fans swearing and threatened a couple with ejection (which actually made things worse in terms of that).

It was the stewards for sure. They refused entry to an elderly Swindon fan with Parkinson’s - telling him to go for coffee and sober up. In the ground there were some verbals with one Asian steward telling our fans ‘Don’t mess with the Taliban’ and offering them out.

You should offer them less as you are not a massive club like they are

Just 300 sold for Crawley. Poor take up, but not surprising.

Decent win tomorrow should see that figure double.

A figure for Dale v Tranmere has finally been posted. Not officially, but the guy who posted on the message board is someone who I've no reason to doubt.

Attendance 4877 (1449 from Tranmere).

Whether it's 1449 or 1600, it's still a bloody good effort.

They had problems with the scanners in the away section, and myself and a load of other supporters were let in via a side entrance rather than through the turnstile. That might be why there is a discrepancy in the figures.

Merseyside Police physically count every person that walks into the ground, which is where the figure of 1,600 comes from.

Count it officially as 1600, for me - we're normally quick at showing attendance figures (incl away fans), so the delay indicates something went wrong on the day, which the explanation from RLC covers. The 1600 were also proper fans who got behind their team, but also applauded the Dale players who got subbed off.

I hope Dale and Tranmere meet in League 1 next year...
