Those are the figures for tickets sold. So the extra 302 weren’t bought by Rovers fans.
I'll never fathom how football fans can't seem to understand that tickets sold doesn't always equate to numbers of fans that have gone to the game.

Especially in the current climate of people being late notice COVID positives, preventing them from attending.

Source?

Just checked both clubs twitter and official sites, no mention of a figure.
On our County Chat Facebook as ‘official away attendance’. No idea if true, but with eight coaches probably not far off the mark.

Been allocated 841 for Salford. I guess this is an initial allocation though they must know we would pretty much sell out the full 1200 or whatever it is. Unless of course they just don’t want to get badly outnumbered in their own stadium.

No we aren’t playing Man City or Liverpool, it’s for Harrogate that go on sale at 12, will be sold out in moments. Yet half the ground will be empty.

Half the ground won't be empty as Leeds don't play that day.

When we played there it was there highest attendance in the FL I think and I spotted at least 5 people wearing Leeds shirts coming out of the ground after the game

I think they’re making it season ticket holders only in the home end so we can’t buy them, sad club who obviously don’t care about the money. Money what many other clubs would snap their hands off for, they deserve relegating not decent football league clubs like yourselves and Oldham. I never get when lower league clubs turn away customers especially in a global pandemic just because they don’t want to be out numbered, at least the likes of Rochdale aren’t so shallow. Salford another set of prize prats should go down with them.

Cheers for the answer. Sounds like guesswork then, but a figure should come out in time.

Sold out the initial allocation for Salford. Waiting for 475 more. Why they didn’t just give the full amount in the first place I don’t know.

They make the visiting club pay up front for the extra tickets I was told and clubs don`t like to pay up front I guess. Anyway enjoy your trip to the middle of nowhere with nowhere to park and nothing to do when you get there, unless you fancy a miles walk to the nearest pub, except wait for the game to start and stand in queues for the shipping container 4 urinal toilet block. It`s great fun at half time especially if it`s pouring down I would imagine. Oh and by the way if you get a seating ticket grab your seat early . You can hardly see a thing in the front rows for the anti-pitch invasion barrier they have bolted on top of the advertising boards. Funny how it is only in front of the visitors section.

We have sold out Barrow away Saturday after next. Any idea why such a small allocation? Think it was only around 600 tickets.

because 650 is the size we've made the away end - it doesn't need to be any bigger so won't be any bigger.
