You’re able to have just over 4K at our place, happy to take your money :£

3,200 (I think) on the last Saturday we played you and 2,800 on the Friday night. A decent season and it would be nice to think we’ll get somewhere near.

Refreshing to see a team down here who can actually accommodate an away following.

919 is the total from the 1200 seats actually there, after we have to cover 281 for safety reasons.

As for Donny, I do believe we did in fact fill your 4,000 seats last time we played you.

I can only see yourselves and Bradford doing it and only if you are doing well

Yeah, most footie fans are a fickle lot.

I can remember being at away games almost by myself in the bad old days supporting GTFC. However if you listen to some of the youngsters we've always taken hoards to everywhere since time began, I can assure you that is not the case at all.

Oh, we've finally sold all 1250 tickets for Orient on Saturday; or at least I think we have!

Despite Wimbledon/the train strikes making it as tricky as possible for our fans to go, we've sold around 950 of the 1200 so far after half a day of general sale. We should get to the 1200 in the next day or so I'd have thought.
I would hope so !!! It's only up the road

It’s not a cup game :bg: or is it:whistle:

Not sure, with how you played i thought it was a pre season friendly

Always good followings to grimsby, and the same in reverse, always had a little bit about them as well for some reason.

Should be ashamed you only scored one :dis:, I honestly have to say last season’s team is one of the worst (given the money spent, probably THE WORST) I’ve witnessed in 50 years of following us. Think we will give you a better run out this time around

1?

Yeah, it was apparent that the side wasn’t all there and there were bigger issues going on at the club/management.

a good old clear out will have done you some good, it’ll be a competitive league but you’ll be top half easy id imagine

Ooops, meant by one. I’m confident we won’t be near the bottom but I’ve no idea if we are good enough to trouble the top 7, Adam Clayton has been given the Captain’s armband which is a positive move, there does appear to be a very positive vibe within the club. Looking forward to our games against your lot

Yeah it’s a nice easy trip from manchester to donny on train, much easier than mansfield (as is grimsby on the same line) we had an alright time last year tbh, we’d just about started winning a few games and that 2nd half performance really pushed us on for the run we had afterward.

There’s still a few silly folk who have beef over things with folk from south yorkshire but hey.

With chesterfield and county still knocking around in the conference with the likes of dorking and wealdstone you’re probably the closest thing we’ve got to a derby this season.

atmosphere in that donny game was brilliant, I remember at the time though suggesting that team Doncaster fielded would probably get relegated in L2 aswell.

It would have but thankfully that team doesn’t exist now even though we have a fair few of the same players

If we can sell three and a half thousand to Doncaster again in a league game will we still be given the allocation? I know some clubs give out extra for cup games, I noticed we play at your gaff early September so if we get a good start its do able.

It’s just over 4K allocation if you can sell them, 3.2k behind the North Stand goal and a further 800 to 1k in the East Stand

But a ballache of a game to get to with no trains. Anything in London is an absolute hassle to be fair.

If a 30 minute train from Gillingham to Stratford and one stop on the tube is ‘hassle’, what’s getting to Hartlepool like…?

The away capacity at plough lane is actually 1465 but due to segregation issues it's been limited to 1200.

I don't live in Gillingham to be fair, with the high speed it's easier I grant you. My point was that a trip of just a few miles is more of a pain in the arse in London, especially when the trains aren't running. By car it's mostly fine but you can't park anywhere, which leaves the other option of getting the coach - and have you seen the state of some of our fans?!

Orient is pretty well connected though, unless you're expecting a 5 minute walk from a station. Loads of places to go before the match if you don't mind a little walk.

If your train into London comes in somewhere West or South it's maybe a bit more of a pain but for coming in at Kings Cross/Euston way then like E10 says Stratford is so easy to get to. Even where there are TFL strikes there are so many lines/buses serving Stratford that the worst that will happen is that your link to there might be a bit busy.
