1491 in the away end (well that was what I heard, it was definitely 1490 and something) in a crowd of 5049 at Sutton- which is the biggest attendance I’ve been part of at GGL (even bigger than the Arsenal cup game)

Crewe messed up the pay on the day, so the away end was well above capacity. I like the way they've announced a figure two below the official capacity of the Ice Cream Van Stand in a not very subtle attempt to cover themselves(!)

I’d personally be a bit surprised if we sold more than 3,000 to home/neutral fans but suppose it is a pretty high profile game. Would reckon 2,000 Dons overall but we’ll never know!

There were obviously going to be a few dons fans in the home today (as there were a few Sutton fans in the home end at Plough Lane in October) - there’s only 5 miles between the grounds and they’ll be Wimbledon fans with SM1 postcodes and a few Sutton fans with SW19 postcodes.

But to suggest there were 1000 Wimbledon fans in the home end today is off considerably. That would suggest there were more Sutton fans at Thursdays game against Gillingham than were there today

Maybe the announcement was wrong. No way a big club like Stockport would only take 700 on a bank holiday 2 hours down the road.
