Apart crewe macclesfield Salford and walsall we arnt going take many to any of the other away games. Got exeter on a tuesday night next might not even get over 100 for that.
Crewe have had alot of long distance away trips so far middlesborough Crawley newport and grimsby not really appealing games to go to even if playing well.

Mansfield Boxing Day should be decent you’d expect although despite large followings to Notts, Sheffield, Rotherham and to Chesterfield we’ve never taken many there for some reason despite being closer than most of them! Might do it this year though with no Notts trip.

Crewe’s following is poor in the circumstances they are in but they have never really travelled well to be fair regardless. Just seem one of those clubs with a die hard 100-200 that do the away trips but not many more that will go regardless of better form.

Decent from Cobblers up to Bradford that. Exeter isn’t bad considering it’s got to be what 6 hours maybe each way?

Our following was pretty standard, expected a few more as our first visit on a Saturday there maybe so one of the new ground to visit. Although after what Newport did to our fans going there the season before last I can understand some not risking it as they changed it to a Friday night about 2 weeks before which screwed over fans who’d purchased train tickets etc!

Don't understand our followings some times. We took a good 60 more to Crawley on a Tuesday night a few weeks ago and I'd expect us to take more Orient on a Tuesday in our next game. We must have a decent amount of exiled fans down south as our followings down there are better than to places like Grimsby.

Wow missed the Crewe announcement yesterday. Didn't look any smaller than the last day of last season. 145 is pathetic though given their form.
I wouldn’t say “pathetic”, it’s sub par, but people not wanting to travel east without any major roads or railway links is understandable, we’ve played you loads, I’ve never gone and I probably never will, arse end place of the country.

Also, form at this point in the season can be taken with a pinch of salt, we’d take far more further into the season when form actually counts.

145 is a non-league following. Bitch all you like about us being in the arse end of the country, but you know I'm right. Pitiful support. The ones that made the effort were decent but that's a fucking shite following and your players deserve better as they were great.

That’s dismal from Crewe to be fair.

Our next lot of awaydays:

Walsall - shite day out but I imagine we’ll fetch about a 1,000

Cheltenham - can’t see many going down on a Tuesday night - 4/500?

Scunthorpe - dire away day again, but relatively local - 1,500

Morecambe (AKA Bradford-by-the-sea) - usually sell out here, whatever that is - 2,200ish?

Macclesfield - one I’m actually looking forward to, but no idea what they allocate.

The next one to ‘look forward to’ is Mansfield next year, but we’ve got to face L2 giants Colchester, Plymouth and Orient first.

Our allocation at Morecambe was 1700ish I think. Not sure if that included the seat tickets though?

I’m sure we’ve been given an extra block in the seating area before - about 2,300 in total.

At Christie Park they used to give us the car wash end an’all. They love it when we come to town. Nice pies and we always let ‘em beat us.

We had 1906 at macclesfield last season which was technically a sell out but sometimes they have given us abit of the side terracing taking the allocation up to 2300ish but they didn't do that last season.

Not surprised. You lot fucking need it. ;)

Oh, it's a proper Brexit/austerity snack bar at Morecambe these days. Plain crisps, Mars Bars, Haribo, cans of Fosters/John Smiths I think it is and the worst thing of all...no gravy for away fans. Last season I thought it was because we had them in April but nope, same pifiul selection on the opening day. My pie was so disappointing in April, I didn't bother on the opening day.

With away games we are often critical of others support, me included.
But really a fair round of fucks to anyone who does go. I went to Newport purely as I'd never been before. Got a full house now in this League.
Will I ever go to the likes of Stevenage, Swindon, Crawley again ? Highly unlikely unless it's first or last game.
I'm a run of the mill Vale fan, Crewe, Salford, Macc, Walsall, Leyton, Oldham, Bradford ( if not a Tuesday ) , Plymouth as last game.
There are places I'll never dream of going again even if it's a free day out.

So fair play really to everyone whether it's 145 or 2000.

PS piss poor effort by Crewe !!

We’ve sold our allocation again, think Port Vale gave us more tickets. Another 1000+ away following hopefully.

Sold out our allocation for Exeter away within an hour and a half this morning. Lots of frustrated Argyle fans

Was it precisely a hour and half or less? Just figuring out wondering how much windmilling is appropriate.
