What state are Macc in financially these days?
Fingers crossed we'll manage to pay player wages now we've got a smaller squad we can actually afford. But literally no money is being spent on anything off the pitch these days even though the stadium's literally falling to bits around us. Also we currently have no chairman or general manager or anything like that so organisation around the ground is absolutely piss poor.

If anyone travels to Macclesfield this season - I'd recommend buying your ticket in advance when you get the chance to do so, their new ticketing system has a few teething issues.

5205 at Walsall Saturday with 270 from Forest Green. That won’t mean much to any non Walsall fans but that represents a good growth in home attendance. Last season for a League 1 fixture our opening attendance was 5,700 with 1700 from Plymouth.

Bonser selling up, a new chairman that will put every penny the club earns into the budget (as he already is with the likes of Guthrie and Clarke turning down league 1 deals to come to us) and an excellent and enthusiastic young manager coming in has lifted the place. Along with selling an extra 400 season tickets over the last week, there is a clear increase of over 900 returning home fans. Huge for a club like us.

If Bonser was in charge we would have struggled to break 3,500 against most sides this season.

1090 sold for Crewe on Saturday, i’d Like us to get as close to the full 1,600 or so. Would represent a decent following. We normally take 800-1,000 to GR unless there is something on it.

Definitely a better and more uplifted atmosphere around us so far this season.

In that case it's a shocking following for first ever away day in the league.
I fear they'll bring a fair few up to Brunton Park in a couple weeks' time then.

Normally the police would only insist on pubs being designated home and away when facing sufficiently big clubs from the North... or Hartlepool. Might suggest they make an exception in this case though, so we don't have to look at them.

We’ve won both our home opening league games for the last 2 seasons.

Both 3-2 and, spookily, the attendances were exactly the same - 7024!

Would have thought Salford have quite a few fans down south, they obviously couldn't find Crawley.

Yeah, I like what I know about your squad and it seems you're solid off the pitch. Very comfortable upper midtable maybe even a flirt with a potential playoff push season and then up next season for me, for you lot.

I wonder which will be the smallest number of fans Salford take way. I suspect us Tuesday week could be a front runner. Awfully long way to come midweek, and if you don’t take many anyway it rather compounds the issue.

Where did you finish in the league each season?

Well ManU are at home to Palace at the same time as their game to us so that could hurt their attendance. They don't have many clashes though since ManU rarely kick off at 3 on a Saturday though they play Liverpool at 5:30 the same day Salford play at Northampton and they're away to Bournemouth while Salford travel to Newport while their trip to Colchester clashes with the Manchester derby.

Well, the hoodoo is more about a shite home performance after a good away performance.

The 3-2 win last season consisted of us getting 2 pens in the 94th and 96th mins!

Have seen a figure of 396 (out of a total of 2,398) reported via ExeWeb.
Probably the most accurate info we are likely to get?

I was estimating a figure of 400 based on last years away attendances for Exeter, so I am I happy to go with 396.

That would be ideal, I think we are a natural goalscoring centre forward off becoming a threat to the play-offs. 15 players through the door and we look a little blunt upfront, so it’s a transitional phase. We do have an excellent manager with experience at this level and he has bought in a few of those that he got promotion with to our squad.

We won’t be a million miles from 7th I don’t think.

Be some interesting followings tonight.

Morecambe at Mansfield can’t be much given they only played each other on Saturday?

3,456 with 917 PNE in attendance.

We average poor crowds in cups because our fans actually have to buy the tickets. Usually, our ST’s are given away in boxes of cereal - if you didn’t already know.

In fairness Macc, FGR and Swindon are all decent and respectable.

To put Swindon 207 in context we played a League one side who are 50 minutes from ourselves and they brought 227.
Fair play.

Burton only took took 227, and you say our support is poor.
