How on earth are you staying afloat?
Good question ,just staying afloat ,we have a good passionate set of directors who have the best interest of the club and are trying their hardest under very difficult situation to keep it going .

Well in other news Mansfield have either sold or are renting part of our land behind the Ian Greaves stand to the World Padel Academy, which is apparently the fastest growing sport in the world albeit one I have never heard of.

Dubai based so hopefully JR got some serious coin to chuck in the to the Bishop street stand,
Notts County have already got one on land behind their Kop.

No idea what World Padel is, but there’s an area of gravel and rubble round the back of our stadium they can use as long as it can double-up as a car park on match days.

No idea on the success of the Padel at Meadow Lane tbh but opened during bad weather at the start of this year. Certainly looks smart and a big upgrade on the boring concrete piece a land for car parking that was previously behind the kop.

What happened to the hotel that was announced in 2017 to be built at Field Mill. Finished yet?

Our yoots are flying right now. Recently beaten Hartlepool who were 2nd in their league 7-0. Cameron Gardner who we've got locked into a three year contract has got back to back hattricks. Obviously it's a massive step up to our level, but there are people saying he'll be in and around our first team squad before long. Would be great to see a few players come through. People who watch them are saying this is out strongest youth team in ages/probably ever.
Beat Forest 1-0 in the FA Youth Cup last night, great achievement for them to beat a Category 1 side who got to last year's final.

Our kids have got Arsenal away in the 3rd round. We beat them at their place in 2015 with a team containing Kirk, Pickering, Cooper, Finney, Lowery, Ainley and Mullarkey. Would be nice to repeat that.

Perhaps it isn't fully relevant to League Two, but as he was in this league before, what are peoples thoughts on Joey Barton going full misogynist last night and today?

Hopefully his outdated and horrific opinions should be doing enough to make him utterly unemployable in football ever again. Well, here's hoping anyway. What a horrible scumbag he truly is.

He's always been an idiot and a nasty piece of work. He's also dead wrong, Emma Hayes is a much better pundit than most of the male ex-footballers we have to put up with.

I mean there’s definitely some absolutely awful pundits that are in a job to tick a box, but the BBC for example employ Robbie Savage to commentate, Talksport employ Gabby Agbonlahor to voice his opinion, so the issue is not down to gender.

I agree regarding Emma Hayes too, very good.

Joey Barton is just after attention, which he will unfortunately get.

Joey Barton is a fool. Think's because he went on Question Time that he is the mouthpiece of the disaffected youth when in truth he is just a loose cannon and an average footballer

Average footballer . You are joking. If you were to say average premier footballer I may agree.

Far better than an average footballer. Average Premier League player sums him up well. Off the pitch he's just a **** with a serious anger issue and always has been since he first started hitting the headlines for his unsavoury off field antics.

I think it’s only fair that Grimsby face a 20 deduction for this
What is it about Grimsby? Boris Johnson isn't even their worst alleged political fan.
There's the (admittedly, entirely untrue) story of War Criminal Henry Kissinger being a Grimsby fan after Tony Crossland took him to a game, as repeated here in The Guardian just last week.
Kissinger, who died on Wednesday, loved football and often attended games. In 1976, for instance, after flying to Britain to discuss the crisis in Rhodesia, he went to Blundell Park for Grimsby’s win over Gillingham with the foreign secretary, Tony Crosland, a passionate Grimsby fan.
Again, and I can't stress this enough, despite it being widely believed, absolute BS. (briefly, Crossland made Kissenger meet him miles outside London so he (Crossland) had time to get to a Grimsby match.)

Any other evil Grimsby fans, real or fictional?

With mass murderer Harold Shipman being reported as a Notts fan when a youngster. In horrific celebrity fans top trumps, we can't be beaten by many, if any, surely?
