I think Barnet will do really well

They've kept hold of Akinde, unless I'm mistaken the first team to come up for a while and keep hold of there top scorer, who I think is going to be up there in the scoring charts.

Looks like they've got a solid defence which last season seemed to be enough to get you there or there abouts in this division, with a goal scorer added I could see them
being a useful side

My suprise team is Mansfield
I think we will surprise a lot of teams with the type of football we play this season, whether it will translate to points is another matter though.

My picks would be Barnet and Exeter. Barnet have made some good signings and seem to have kept the key players which took them up which is where us and Luton faltered after winning the league. Exeter weren't a million miles away last season and have had time to build a side over time, plus with the extra money from Grimes have added a bit more quality than they usually could.

You say that but we have lost 29 league goals in Cook & Macdonald (released and the correct decisions after faltering/injuries) & Luisma (homesick so allowed to go home!). Those 3 were also top of our assist charts I believe and with us not resigning Conor Clifford we really haven't replaced them at all and will be relying on big John massively.

If we had kept Luisma (he'd score 4/5 free kicks alone) I think we would all be a lot more confident, we should be safe but I think we are missing that final spark in midfield to challenge.

I also think Barnet will do well. I've predicted a playoff place for them in the league table thread.

I also think the signing of Craig Mackerel-Smith could make Luton surprise a few by staying up.

The biggest 'suprise' will be when Matt Green's shin collapses into his knee and Mansfield are immediately relegated.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Barnet was the one I placed as main shock.

another in a shock, but not too shocking would be possibly Accrington finally going down.

they get predicted all the time, but always easily survive so now gets to point no on is surprised they stay up, but while I have not put them bottom 2 I think maybe this is the year, their form at end of season was horrendous and the coleman safety net seemed to burst, lost afew players and I think it could be maybe their year which would be a surprise as they usually stick it and survive.
