Do you honestly believe that???

He's an absolute donkey - his performance at our place was arguably the worst I've ever seen from an opposition defender, and Saturday he spooned the ball out of play half a dozen times.
hey guess what that Donkey is nominated in feb player of the month awards
Including the game when he spooned the ball out 6 times.

You really cannot see a player

Haha. Rodney would have 100 goals this season if he was.
Santos was rewarded with a 2 year extension and nominated in the lge 2 player of the month award

Trouble with vale you have not one but 11 Daves.........they are all plonkers

We have a squad of about 30 at vale so we have about 25 plonkers by my reckoning.

I was going to say... based on the shit attitude shown by some they will look very silly when out of work in a few months and no one wants them!

Dear me.......Have you seen who won the Febuary lge2 player of the month. You put this msg on the first of March so obviously you know nothing about players in form.

Though you did get a like from the Walley from Wallasey

To be fair he seems prone to a real shitter, might be great 90% of the time but can only judge on what we see in the day.

Thats fair.....First game of the season he was awful and had a stinker away at Barrow and against you.
Tranmere is another all these in a 5 at the back.
The rest of the time he has been commanding. That is why he is a lge2 player and not in the Championship or Premier league.
Since Christmas about 20 games no forward got the better of him

See Oldham have terminated David Wheater's contract.

Bizarre the way that club is run

Wasn’t there some strange back story to it all? Odd really if they could defend they’d be up there and he’d have been the perfect option!

I've not been following the Oldham saga but according to the media reporting this, having signed him in August they'd already told him come September that he was surplus to requirements, then followed some odd claims about him injuring himself picking up his dog and him moving further away from Oldham after signing for them.

Sure one of the Oldham fans knows all the details.

EDIT: Oh so he was signed in August 2019 and then told last year he wasn't part of their plans. I read it as him being told a month after signing for them that they didn't want him and wasn't surprised because Oldham.

Didn't he get injured 'lifting' his dog? It was probably more to do with him refusing a pay cut cos of Covid and him spouting all sorts of UKIP-ish nonsense on social media.

Joe Ledley signed til end of the season. Should do a decent job for us if fit. Need a boost in midfield.

7 games in 3 years, dont see him doing anything this season, but if you can get a tune out of him this summer he may be your Wes Hoolihan next season

It's just for this season - has been training with Bristol Rovers apparently. Not sure if he'll feature this Sat but should be good to go for Barrow and Bolton over the Easter weekend.

We've signed Calvin Andrew on a deal until the end of the season.

Another Vale reject, was in the highest scoring team in England in 2012/13... scored once a Doug Loft shot which deflected of his arse (actually true)... oddly since then he’s scored against us a couple of times so actually scored more against us than for us!

Seems a strange one - Sea and Ndjoli must be really shit in training for neither of them to be given a proper chance.

We’ve a weird record of turning poor strikers good like Akpo Sodje, Leon Constantine (was hit and miss for most clubs), even AJ Leitch-Smith...

Others who seem to do well elsewhere don’t with us a lot of the time!

Calvin Andrew is garbage never scored goals where ever he's been think his best total in a season is 6. Quigley was poor at vale but did well at Wrexham so there was always a chance that he would come good when Barrow signed him.

You mean Sir Calvin. It might have been his only goal for the Stags, but it was a good one.

Was it Calvin Andrew who should have been charged with gbh for a challenge he made while with Rochdale 2 or 3 years ago?

Elbowed somebody on purpose I seem to remember.

Jake Hesketh has returned to Southampton after his hamstring gave out.

Undoubtedly a talented player but he really needs to get the issue sorted. I can see it affecting his career. How many clubs are going to give a good contract to a player who can only be relied on for 10-15 games a season?
