I am sure you will strengthen quite a bit more before the big kick off, because as it stands, that squad screams relegation mate
We won't strengthen, we don't have the money. We will randomly bring in loads of non-league players a week before the season starts.

We're doomed baring a miracle investment

Our team is looking horrific as expected.

Goalkeepers
Rory Watson, Tom Collins

Defenders
Jai Rowe, George Taft, Manny Onariase, Mason O'Malley

Midfielders
Lewis Spence, Alfie Beestin, Tom Pugh, Myles Hypolytte, Tom Pugh, Alex Kenyon

Attackers
Ryan Loft, Kenan Dunnwald-Turan, Aaron Jarvis, Devarn Green

Alex Kenyon (who we just signed) has more FL appearances than the rest of our team combined.
You've got more forwards on your books than Rovers.

McGreal has come out with a cryptic ‘message to the fans’ statement today.

Says the club has signed 6 players but cannot announce them because of the ongoing court case. Here’s his words

‘The club are currently not in a position to announce these signings due to the ongoing court case regarding the ownership of Swindon Town.’

Can’t make head nor tail of it, tbh.
That’s really odd considering you’ve already announced Sweeney. Wonder what’s changed since?

We’re looking shite at the moment. No adequate keeper, no right (wing?) backs, no wide players and only a mostly-unproven kid up front. Still, we’ve got a monopoly on bog-average, uncreative central midfielders, so that’ll work out I’m sure.

GK: Sam Sargeant, Rhys Byrne (Youth)
RB: ???
LB: Connor Wood, Jayden Sweeney (Youth)
CB: Adam Thompson, Omar Beckles, Dan Happe, Shadrach Ogie (Youth)
RM: ???
LM: ???
CM: Darren Pratley, Ouss Cissé, Craig Clay, Hector Kyprianou, Matt Young (Youth)
AMC: Dan Kemp, Anthony Papadopoulos (Youth)
FC: Ruel Sotiriou

A metric fuck-ton of work still to be done this summer. All eyes on Lawrence Vigouroux at the moment. Desperate for him to sign. Can’t be doing with Sarge as first choice between the sticks.

A somewhat unbalanced squad so far for Dale:
GK: Jay Lynch, Brad Wade, Brad Wall*
DEF: Eoghan O'Connell, Joe Dunne**
MF: Aaron Morley, Ollie Rathbone, Conor Grant, Stephen Dooley, Ethan Brierley*
FW: Steve Humphrys, Jake Beesley, Alex Newby, Abraham Odoh, Peter Thomas*

*17 year old given Pro contract.
** 2nd year Pro, not played in FL yet

Could do with probably four defenders. Whether full time signings, or loanees, they're needed!

Bankrolled Harrogate in talks with forward Luke Armstrong. If the figures are to be believed, it's money we can't compete with.

Any news on this striker Bradford supposedly made a bid for?

Any news on this striker Bradford supposedly made a bid for?

One bid was supposedly declined and the ITK suggested a second bid was being weighed up, but heard nothing since.

This ITK called the Angol signing 3 weeks before it was announced.

You thinking it might’ve been Quigley?

One of the possibilities, but Matt and someone else were mentioned more frequently on the Bradford side when it originally came to light.

there's only a limited number of in contract L2 strikers who scored enough goals last season to merit a bid from anyone - and Quigley is one of them.

We’ve signed 2 players but they’re not being announced till next week, annoyingly. Whoever they are, just hope they improve us!

Not sure how many 'last chance' moves Angol will get but surely this will be the last one.

Rob; I did reply.

Decent right back. When he played the right side of our defence looked solid. Not a bad word to say about him. Easily good enough to play at league 1 level.

Loan him to us .

Sorry, didn't notice. Its unusual to see positive views on players here. Some of our twitter idiots were being nasty about Liam Ridehalgh when he signed for Bradford but 99% of comments to his twitter message after leaving were thanking him for 8 years.

Rob, I can be as damming as the next man about a player but only if I think it's deserved....I've been known to be wrong too. I said Sonny Bradley would struggle at league 1 level but was a decent centre half. He made a career in the Championship.

All the players we watch week in week out are a lot better players than I ever was so I do try to remember that when making an assessment.

When you consider how many people live in England the fact that less than 3,000 of them make a living playing football shows that they are better than most. I remember somebody saying that the 98th ranked tennis player must be rubbish and a bloke pointed out that he was officially better than over 7•8bn other people so couldn't be that bad.
For the most part i will not slag off our own players at games, unless they are clearly not trying, because its counter productive.
The opposition are fair game. Match officials deserve it for being there.

Have to say I didn’t expect to have so many of your fans coming on our hashtag telling us how crap he is considering he was with you 8 years, we have our fair share of Twitter mongs ourselves but can’t imagine them slagging a player off like that who’d lasted 8 years for us.

Most he's shit comments come from people that are actually disappointed that the player has left. I bet if Quigley leaves us there will be comments saying he's average and we could do better.

They slag each other off if theres no convenient victim. There is a young lad from Ghana who is a massive fan and some of them have a go at him for no reason.
Liam Ridehalgh is a player who will give it 100%. He might not be a top class player but he is a top class professional.

If we signed Lionel Messi some of our 'supporters' would give him abuse. Its what twitter is like.

Twitter is literally a field full of manure. It certainly brings out the single digit IQ fans. Thankfully you can weed out the nonsense on forums like this where you can generally get a sensible, measure approach to feedback.

Unless you sign a player from Bolton and then you have to tolerate the inane ramblings of the twatty two.

That’s Josh Dacres-Cogley to you.
He likes to be called Josh Cogley, had enough double barrelled name players recently.
Josh Dacres-Cogley sounds like somebody Devon Lad would have round for afternoon tea and a bit of looking down on others.
