Son of Cod; Tilly came on in the second half on Saturday as a right winger.

First impression was he was OK but out of position (left footed).

On TV, first game I'm not going to base an opinion on that but a good start.

Didn't realise you'd signed Tilley. I thought he probably had the most potential out of all the crap we released, but seemed to get slammed by most Town fans. Will be keeping an eye on that one.

All on £175 per month too, I'm guessing?
all on 1.5m a year Salary cap

Seem to have been the transfer window for everyone in League Two exchanging attacking players like some sort of swingers' party.

Bradford let Kurtis Guthrie leave for Port Vale, and bring in Danny Rowe and Andy Cook from Oldham and Mansfield. With Nicky Maynard also departing Mansfield for Newport who have also brought in Luke Gambin from Colchester and sent Robbie Willmott to Exeter and Tristran Abrahams to Orient who in turn have seen Josh Wright and Jordan Maguire-Drew head to Crawley who also bring in James Tilley from Grimsby who replace him with Stefan Payne from Tranmere. while down south FGR ship out Matthew Stevens and Josh March to Stevenage and Harrogate. Stevenage also bring in Luke Norris from Colchester

EFL went absolutely mad yesterday, Sky Sports News viewers thought nothing happened, because it’s not the prem.

Happy enough with our business, perhaps could have done with another midfielder and a proven goalscorer, but can't always get that. Possibly top late in the window for us to avoid relegation, could of done with it at the beginning of Jan, but there is always a little bit of hope!
RIP Danny Preston

How many players are in your squad?

Too many (around 30) and Hurst acknowledged as such when he started, unfortunately they are all shite and hard to get rid off, luckily I think less than 10 are contracted for next season so he should be able to get down to around the 20ish he wants for next season, lets hope its still in this league.

If you can get a tune out of him this is what he is capable of,

the first is against hereford in our conference promotion season
the second against middlesboro in an fa cup replay,

Unfortunately for us and him he is now a shaddow of that player, but good luck to him maybe a change of scenery is what he needs.

He did that for us back in the day. He was a really talented player who I think should have done more with his career.

Not that anyone cares but ins and outs at Crawley.

In
Davide Rodari (undisclosed from non league so not much)
Josh Wright (free from Orient)
Jordan Maguire-Drew (loan from Orient)
James Tilley (free from Grimsby)
Stuart Nelson (free...short term contract extended)

Out

Max Watters (undisclosed...take your pick on the fee. To Cardiff)
Nathan Ferguson (undisclosed to Southend)
Josh Doherty (loan to Colchester)
Tom McGill (loan terminated, back to Brighton)

Did hear we expected another to leave yesterday (Yems interview regarding Orient game tonight).

I still think we are lightweight in central midfield but I'm aware others think this is the best midfield we've had since we were relegated to league 2 and seeing we had Rodari on the bench for the Cambridge game I think Yems doesn't rate our back up strikers of German and Ashford so we look light up top.

Is Josh Doherty any good? With Cohen Bramall moving to Lincoln last night we were always going to need some cover. Ryan Clampin has looked assured enough when he has played so I'm sure he'll get plenty of opportunity now but, otherwise, we just have a 17-year-old as backup. Not sure yet if Doherty is coming in to play until the end of the season or just provide cover for Clampin to be honest.

Charlton must really hate Marcus Maddison sending him to dog turd laden Bolton on loan. Must be the ultimate punishment in football.

I am now convinced that Masi51 is also The Baldy One/ptay11/Embo multi character on The Paddock forum. Same level of intelligence.

It was a wordplay reference to the second world war Enigma machine and codes. I was not accusing SoC of being enigmatic. To be clear I should probably have put Enigma machine.
OK. Message was a bit enigmatic. I remember reading about your name somewhere on here. A form of moth was it or moth related?

Walsall have signed Max Melbourne on loan for the rest of the season from us.

He sees himself as a CB, Appleton doesn't think he's good enough for CB yet and is best suited to LB but he's not really pulled up any trees since he signed 18 months ago (initially on loan, then made permanent last January). He plays like someone who doesn't want to be at LB and has been unconvincing.

Ultimately though, he's our 5th choice CB and with signing Cohen Bramall from Colchester last night, 4th choice LB. Not sure we'll see him in a Lincoln shirt again. Probably a victim of how well we've kicked on this season.
Well we will be playing him entirely as a left back as we lost our own left back that prefers to play CB in Zak Jules to MK yesterday. It's also been said that all of our loan signings are players that we have one eye on keeping come the end of the season, so I imagine if he does well he will be back on a permanent. Local lad too as he came up through the Tesco Bagladies.

Think he will be good enough to be a playoff challenging league 2 fullback?

Could of sent him to the Wirral where he could of smelt the raw sewage as it made its way down the mersey
Wondered at amazement of the cars on bricks
Wondered why all the woman are orange and nobody worked.
