wasn't a loanee - we signed him from Bournemouth in January then released him at the end of the season.
I think Michael Jolley signed him because he liked his name (Mikael Ndjolli) as it sounded like his.
I think he played a total of maybe 30 mins for us.

Michael Jolley/Michael Ndjoli. They do sound the same! Clever that, should have kept both. Either that or Swindon should appoint Jolley.

Reminds me of Gary Mills signing Gary Mills.

When McKirdy was with us on loan they filmed our hugely respected club president showing him and two other signings the Transporter Bridge and talking a bit about the town's heritage. It was shown on a BBC Wales doc. McKirdy stood there smirking and looking like showing even the slightest interest was beneath him.

Yes, but his attitude stinking must have contributed to him now being an unemployed footbaler trialling for a basket case club. It's dumb.

I'm going to try and be polite but why do you keep coming onto the league 2 forum looking for bites? Aren't you a bit old for childish games?

I'm just glad that neither Bolton or Swindon have gone out of business after recent troubles, can't you move on?

This is the transfer rumours thread, not the bickering playground section.

Not looking for bites, just stating that Dan called our club a basket case
I am glad that Swindon have a new owner/s and wish the same for Oldham...As i did to Bury supporters
Once you have posted you are open to being called out .BTW think Dan and the other two three Swindon are pretty fair in the whole

Fair play for the reply Masi, I'm just trying to avoid the thread falling into disrepair like others!

Tbh, there’s no denying both Bolton and Swindon were basket case clubs - like plenty of others unfortunately. More precisely, these clubs had basket case owners, not the clubs per se.

No doubt there are more than a few other clubs, right this minute, who are hurtling headlong into dangerous waters.

There but for the grace of God . . .

Any Swindon fans about to fill us in on Matt Palmer? Seems like he’s had a bit of a tricky spell with yous, but on paper also looks like a decent signing for us in the Vanarama.

I’d imagine he’d do well with you. Bit of a slight player, easily knocked off the ball, decent passer, decent crosser. Difficult to tell honestly amidst our shit show last season.

Probably too good for the Vanarama.

A lovely clear photo of our trialist striker - still no idea who he is. I don't think it's Jamille Matt...

I'm led to believe we've signed Enfield Borough winger Bruno Tavares on a 1 year deal. He's been a triallist so has done enough to earn a deal.

Good player. I thought when he was given a run in the side he looked decent. Good passer, moves the ball nicely. Didn't look out of place in league 1 certainly. Should do well for Notts I reckon, he surely could do a job in league 2 so a good signing for you.

Apparently we've also signed McKirdy. Be happy with that, read he can be hit and miss but at this level sounds an exciting player.

See that Tom Pope has joined Congleton Town in the North West Counties League which is basically step 5 in the pyramid. Not sure what further proof anyone would need we were right to release him to be honest though am sure some Vale fans will still try and say he should have had one more year.

Interestingly the Holy One has rolled up at Congleton Town.

Josh Wright not played any pre season friendlies so far. A couple of players were asked where he was and said they hadn't seen him.

He still has two years on his contract so he is injured you say. Am I clutching at straws? Well I did think so but then this popped into my consciousness

I actually don't think Josh is that bad but it does look as though he and his brother are looking at a life beyond football.

There is some suggestion that it’s Greg Luer, ex Hull
Long way from home if it is.

He was signed for Hull from a team in Sussex (Burgess Hill Town)

Casey

As a matter of interest I looked up Greg on Google. In some pictures he is a clean shaven keeper, in others he is rather hirsute. In one he is black and another he is Dean Cox.
