Nah, it'd have to be a freebie. Like an undercover agent. If he scores against all the promotion-chasing teams he'll prove his worth.

Some Oxford fan posted on Exeweb that they've offered big bucks for our young CB Jordan Moore-Taylor.

I'd be surprised if we sold to another L2 club and, as he's been largely fantastic for us I'd be disappointed with anything under 500k and a sell on.

That has got to be a wind up. Our biggest problem is a lack of height in our central defence. We are looking for a CB - but someone well in excess of 6 ft. Alfie Mawson at Barnsley is the one we want most.

According to Nixon, Matty Ingram is heading to the Prem, but will be loaned back for the rest of the season.

Signed James Baxendale from Wallsall on a month's loan with view to permanent. Seems a good move. Any comments?

He is just to old, everytime he gets close to fitness he suffers some kind of muscle strain, pull. Time for him to hang up his boots
Someone on our forum said we wanted to sign him, he's usually pretty reliable. Assume it'd be coaching if he's no use as a player now but I've not got much clue about whether he's done any badges etc.

He might be capable of coming off the bench for 10-15 min but for the wages we are paying him I'm I'll just be glad he's gone.

Thatll be one of our top earners off the wage bill. Now all we need is Batt to follow.

Shame though, his goal in pre-season vs Palace I think showed the class he does have.

Good old Batt! Great impact player for us when we finished 3rd in League One two years ago, no technical ability but would scare the shit out of defenders with his strength and pace. His composure infront of goal wasn't great though, also more injury prone than Lisbie!!

Great player we had previously on loan. Too good for league 2. He is a Geordie so is likely to go homewards.

Watch us go and sign Lisbie. As a Tisdale signing, he's just coming into his prime.

Still convinced Lisbie would be decent on a pay as you play deal, he was fit for most of last season but Liverani just didn't fancy him. Batt on the other hand, I think I say this everytime it's mentioned on here, but LOL.

We've signed Jayden Stockley on loan until the end of the season.

What's he like, Portsmouth & Luton fans?

Works hard, puts himself about, not exactly the most naturally gifted. L2 seems to be about his level? Needs to find himself a permanent home cos he's done more loans than wonga.

Came up with a couple of last minute goals for us but didn't really look particually good.

Hartlepool have taken Nathan Thomas from us.

Good winger on his day, little inconsistent but could be a great player one day. Wanted to move closer to the North East apparently.

Not the kind of player I would want in a relegation battle. Hartlepool fans who came to the game at Field Mill will remember him as the left winger who tore you apart. Sadly we've not seen enough of that, Came off the bench a few times and caused problems and looked dangerous but he's too inconsistent. Maybe Moore will get something out of him, Just hope he has one of his off days when we visit VP!

Who said we're in a relegation battle? Five games in hand and we should definitely win them all.

All relative though about Thomas vs. us, we had Scott Harrison at right back in that game which was like employing David Cameron as a fish filliter for the day.

Nathan Thomas could make a huge positive difference for Pools. He's a tormentor and a match winner on his day. He'll certainly win at least one game for them on his own this season.

However, someone needs to find that most difficult of treasures in him from somewhere - that elusive lower league wide man consistency. All of our clubs have had those wingers that win you a game one week and do diddly squat the next - Nathan is the quintessential example of that.

All the best to him, a good honest lad with bags of potential that he needs to find soon.

Nigel Atangana been made available for transfer (assumed free).

Joined from non-league, following previous spells in the basement French leagues. Definitely a hell of a player in there somewhere, but it's clear to see that he's never been coached professionally, and can regularly be found missing out of position, or diving in to tackles in the final third giving dangerous free kicks away in the final stages of a game. He's 26 and should know better by now.

On a good day he looks like a budget Yaya Toure. On a bad one, he plays like I would given the chance.

With a manager who has the time to coach him one-to-one, he'd turn in to a fine, graceful player. Cook started with him for the first 7-8 games but became frustrated at his lack of positional sense and has barely had a look in since.

Worth a punt if I were a manager in this league with a limited budget.
