Could go either way, that one. He definitely knows where the net is if you can incorporate him in the right way - BUT, is very lightweight and fragile.

Needs some work to bring the best out of him but if Harris can do that then you have a decent player.

Without sounding like sour grapes or anything...nope. I think people go overboard because he's only 22. He's not a goal threat, he gives the ball a way an awful lot, his set pieces are below standard, gives away a stupid amount of free kicks around the box, and his hollywood-esque passes never hit their mark. Won't sleep over him going, especially now we've got Smallwood.

Horsfall at Carrington today signing according to a solid ITK on our board. Don't know when they'll announce it. We like 6pm announcements but could just do tomorrow.

Rumours he turned down higher wage offers from L1 clubs, L2 clubs obviously Northampton, Bradford also mentioned. Even some of the shit ones like Hartlepool and Barrow etc.

Sounds a solid signing but you never know. Has to buy into the culture.

He’ll apparently be training with us. We’ve offered to cover his rehab and put him in touch with another specialist to see if can get him back to fitness. We’ll see, him and DC have a strong relationship and maybe he thought it was a safer option than under a manager he’s never played for. Be a great option to have in the number 10 role though if it works out.

He was a standard neat and tidy academy style player, won’t really be missed at all. He could pass although went for Hollywood balls often and lost possession spending to long making his mind up. He improved under Hughes in a possession based team but not enough to miss him, as soon as Smallwood came in I’d forgotten about him. If you choose Salford over Bradford City my response to you is good riddance.

7 signings so far - but we released 5 plus Zanzala, Banks, - so that's 7 out. Add Matty Platt (and possibly James Jones) turning down new deals and Lillis and Jason Taylor both possibly going onto the coaching side and we could have about 4 more incoming.

Just going back to this, as a comparison a Vale fan will appreciate, I got similarly frustrated with Billy Knott as someone who was supposed to be a passer but gave the ball away too much, but Knott was miles better than Watt.
