Wheater is a top signing tbf but......

.......:why the fuck couldn't Oldham fucking sign him next fucking week.
Don’t worry. The rest of our team is pony. This is the signing that stops us going down... we’re still 4 decent signings away from competing.

Hope you're right. You were the only game in August I half fancied us winning. Until you signed Wheater.

Well I’ve put you in a £10 treble with Bradford and Exeter first time I’ve backed against Oldham ever that shows you what we think of the team

We are still on the hunt for a striker and a number 10 and then I think we'll be sorted.

More rumours that Callum Lang is on the radar but wary about that after all the earlier talk about Eoin Doyle which never happened and was probably bluster

Callum Lang just signed a new 3 yr contract at Wigan would imagine if he goes out on loan it would be to league one after two good seasons with us last year and Morecambe the year before I know we have approached. Wigan to try and get him for another year hoping joe Royle connection can swing it our way

Peterborough chairman confirmed we’re after one of their players - Callum Cooke. Played under Gary Bowyer at Blackpool.

Apparently trying to bring Callum Lang back and Zach Clough in. Badly need them that's for sure.

FGR will still roll us over tomorrow.

McKeown signs a 1-year extension. Not sure if anyone was sniffing around but we’ve got a good L2 keeper for another 3 years at least.

I'm a bit shocked nobody has come in to take him to be honest.

Here we go again with the tinpot announcements.

Fox in the box I believe is the implication. We posted a bee for Carroll (Brentford) and a woman saying 'hey fella' for 'Olufela Olomola'

Hardy's been one that the fans on our board have been hoping we sign for a few weeks, though I don't know owt about him. Whether it's one of those rumours that just starts with one person suggesting it and snowballs or whether there's an actual credible source behind it I don't know. I think Nicko doesn't bother with the former type of rumour though so perhaps...

Leicester forward Ryan Loft, seaon-long loan

Thoughts Exeter fans? I searched his name on Exeweb and seems like he wasn't well thought of there. Seems that Eric Kinder might have been the connection with him coming to us.

He's 6foot 4 so will be able to get on the end of some lofty crosses.

They say the delay in signings is with things being sorted out with the parent club's transfer business, or the player himself. I'm wondering if the delays are just to allow the media team to find an appropriate GIF.

Played 45 mins for us in his entire loan spell and was dragged off at HT in that game. He played a couple of u23 games for us and think he scored a header. He’s big and should cope with L2 defenders.

He may be ok but I wouldn’t say he’s going to set the world alight considering his stats.

Finally signed our 4th striker, Sam Smith from Reading joins on a season long loan.

Happy that we have some depth there now, all of them apart from Jabo are complete unknowns though.

Joe Hardy must be the one coming in later in the window. Probably the one Pressley mentioned last night that he's prepared to wait for.

Looked lost in League 1 last season, but hope he does well for you =]

Looks like we've signed Cohen Bramall, probably to be announced at 2pm tomorrow when the teamsheets are out.

What’s Jacob Maddox like Cheltenham fans? We’re signing him next week apparently?

He's a decent player when things are going well. You can tell he has bags of talent and his technical ability is fantastic.

Likely to go missing though if the game gets bogged down.

True. I can understand your concern - 4-0 and 6-0 comes to mind recently. Plus I was at your place when we relegated you in 2017. Maybe it is your turn?
Maybe...we're definitely travelling light to yours in terms of attacking threat though. Nobody to hold the ball up for us. Can see us coming under serious pressure and Swindon teams don't tend to do 'holding firm'. However our away form over the past couple of seasons has been better than our home form.

I'm only going by what I have read, but Yates is good at holding the ball up I believe. If we can properly utilise the pace of Woolery I can see this bearing fruit. This discussion should probably be happening in the match day Fred shouldn't it?

Confirmed. Can't say I've ever heard of him but Arsenal must have seen some promise at one point.
