sounds like you ventured onto the racist version. Early 90s board format, even longer in the tooth views.

The other one which i think Moonie has managed to get onto is more like early 10s, but hard to get onto as we’ve had our fair share of weirdo Hartlepool and Wrexham fans join. Think you need to email ID or something crazy like that now.

This one, I couldn’t work out how to read anything

The've graciously allowed me to post, and have so far been friendly enough :cool1:

Tried to sign up for yellowboard earlier on to sound folk out about this, didn't realise away fans weren't welcome :shifty:

Stratton has shown enough for me to think there's an excellent player in there, one to develop and then sell to a higher level in a year or two. Hasn't scored many, but in his defence he's rarely played as an out and out striker. His runs cause problems for full backs, and he makes space for others. Personally I hope this is the 1/10 that your ITK messageboarders get wrong. Can't see us splashing the cash for a permanent deal at this point, but we really can't afford to be letting an attacker leave us at this point, as we're down to the bare bones up front.
Yeah when he was on loan with us we were playing terrible football under Rusk and his pace and energy stood out a mile. He also scored 3 in 5 and looked a good finisher so I think goals are there with him potentially.

I’ve no idea why we didn’t nab him on loan ourselves in the summer as we ended up two strikers short when the window closed.

Yeah avoid this one, it's embarrassing that it still comes up as the first board and isn't a representation of our fanbase, its a handful of coffin dodgers who post racist shit and white nationalist great replacement theory nonsense.

https://theyellowboard.boards.net/board/1/main-board is far better if you ever do fancy reading our message boards..

I remember your lot having a similar forum, called the Custard Palace, which was also piss yellow and full of oddballs.

I only mention this because to this day Im subconsciously unable to call Crystal Palace by their proper name

Definitely not Gills. Never had a board called that.

I thought Byrne was very poor to be honest. Not good enough for a promotion challenging team.

Preston, Sheff Wed and us are linked too, probably with many others.
I think sheff We’d are in pole position, only reason I put it up is because it’s so unusual these days for any transfer information to come out

Stretton confirmed to Stockport.

Apparently we matched the fee but didn’t match the wage offer (No surprise) and didn’t match the offer of a dream.

Hope it works out for him. Good attitude, works hard but a lot to improve on before he becomes a regular starter at this level in my opinion.

I’m glad we didn’t splash our limited budget on him to be honest. Others may disagree.

I think your right HG, the harsh reality is you could argue Patrick can play the exact same hard working role but he can also score goals. Stretton would never have really ever started but for the co stand mass injuries to the forward line, but he took his chance when he did.

Of course the bigger issue is having any of them fit to play in first place!

Stretton may well become a good goal scorer his movement and effort is there, we do have a knack of getting good forwards just before they bloom.

He’d been learning a lot from Dennis I think so that may hurt him but the. Stockport have paddy madden (another of our left then got good players) he could learn from.

Wild says he's hoping to bring four in this window with "contingencies" if we lose some of our players, and there is interest in some. He also stated we have 15 players out of contract in the summer and if they won't sign new deals we will be listening to offers with a view to cashing in. The majority of them are take it or leave it to be honest, the only ones I'd be really disappointed to lose are Brough and Gotts.

Colchester set to sign Connor Hall from us it seems. He was a brilliant signing for us in the last January window from Harrogate and a key reason we went up. Been slightly exposed for pace on occasions in L1 but by no means completely out of his depth either. Still lives in Cambridgeshire so no doubt the commute for him will be easier there.

Be a shame to lose him but he hasn’t stepped us as we’d have hoped I guess.

Would be an excellent addition in league two and as you say was a rolls Royce at this levelS

Easily our best January signing for many years. He was absolutely tremendous at league 2 level and I thought he'd be easily good enough for league 1 but hasn't found it easy. If he does go to Colchester, that's an excellent signing for them.

It’s done by the looks of it. Wish him well. Was outstanding in the POSF second leg and his clearance in the final kept it comfortable.

He’s from Cambridge and commutes so makes sense. Easily one of the best at L2 level.

Someone on Exeweb is saying Matt Jay to Colchester is a done deal. Might be bollocks but this has been rumoured for a little while. Apparently we’re getting a fee.

Would be sad to see him go as he’s been at the club since he was a kid, but he’s just not getting the games at the moment. Good player for anyone in L2.

Paving the way for Alex Newby to sign for us...

Apparently Plymouth will be signing our loanee Tyreik Wright. That's a massive blow for us because he's quality. He's also the only player aside from Cook who scores in this team so this could be a serious problem if we haven't got something lined up.

Will be a big blow if true. I was hoping we might have a chance of signing him permanently, bit always thought his impressive performances for us would attract higher league attention.

Let's hope we have a quality replacement lined up, return of Vernam perhaps, who was excellent during his spell here after appointing Mark Hughes, who clearly got the best out of him for a couple of months before he signed for Lincoln

Wright’s been excellent but I’d more than take Vernam as a replacement.

Simon Parker now confirmed this.

I'd have Vernam back, without a doubt. But I think he's a different player to Wright so I definitely think we need to try replace him like for like.

There's a lot of chat about how Vernam wants to be over on our side of the country, in terms of club (he's already moved back to Grimsby) and was reportedly very close to signing in the summer so I'm hoping that's not bollocks as it might be one of those rare occasions our location works in our favour. Lincoln need to bring someone in before anything happens on the front though by all accounts.

Freeman suppose to be coming in from Portsmouth but it’s up in air now due to the managerial situation with Danny Cowley being sacked and now back to full-time searching his name on twitter.

We desperately need a player for every position in defence so would make sense.
