We’ve sold out tonight as YEO says above but it’s looking like a lot of Wednesdayites won’t make it due to a bad crash on the motorway.

Thursday 30th December 2021
Sunderland 5-0 Sheffield Wednesday | 34,652 [2,821]

A ridiculous attendance on a Thursday night in December in League 1. We're not going to get a figure from Sunderland, so will have to go with tickets sold, even if not all Wednesday fans made it.

As we are at the end of the month, here are the updated figures so far. I've added a couple of columns in red to see the changes from last months figures....

Announced a week ago that we’ll be playing Crewe on 12th January.

A week on and the club have still received no tickets from Crewe.

Shambles.

I wouldn't worry too much will be available on the day at the same price. Its not as if your going to sell out.

You’re right although need to buy in advance to get loyalty points.

Annoying this one has had to have been moved and especially with the rearranged date being announced at such short notice as we would have gone close to selling out on a Saturday afternoon. What is the maximum allocation?

The max would be around 2,300.
I doubt you'd have got anywhere near that on a Saturday - probably 1,200 or thereabouts surely.

More than that for sure but yeah not 2k, a ground we’ve not played at for over 20 years and easy to get to.

Sold 700 for Morecambe on a Tuesday night and 1400 for Lincoln which were two new grounds so I’d imagine 1500-1600 would have been minimum for Crewe.

Morecambe have given us 1000 tickets for our game coming up. Is this their maximum allocation or should we expect more? I have my ticket, but I'm asking for a few non STHs.

Looking at other clubs Charlton got 1,010 so that might be your lot.

We play them away on the last game of the season so I've been curious to see where I stand in regard on getting a ticket. Could be a mad dash or another damp squib like Southend away a couple of season ago.

The 1,010 we received was an initial allocation.

We had the terrace behind one goal and a section of the seated side to the left.

Think you can probably get up to 1300-1500 if demand is there although surprised Wigan wouldn’t have been given that in the first place as they would sell it easily I’d imagine seeing as it’s so close.

Yeah I'm dreading the ticket scrum for the last game as well. We've got Shrewsbury away who normally only give around 1,800 tops, so that'll go in minutes.

It'll be because the game's been moved to a Tuesday night. Would be a poor show if we can't shift a full allocation considering we just took 750 odd to a Pizza Cup game at Oldham last night. No trains home is a proper ballache though!

We had them on a Tuesday night, one of the best away games I’ve done. We took about 700, booked out all the guest houses and packed out the Boardwalk on the sea front til about 1am. Fuck all else around open, was surreal but this Boardwalk had a DJ on playing all the classics.

We've booked the travelodge in town. Boardwalk is on the radar, cheers for that!

Think we have sold 2,860 tickets for tomorrow in Brum. My first time at St Andrew’s.

Just over 200 sold for Crewe on Wednesday.

Blimey. Going to be the lowest away support I’ve ever been apart of I think.
