Evans ball making people stay away?
Will certainly have him moaning about not having the cash with the rest of the division.
Our crowds are down a bit this season, few hundred I think, novelty wearing off for some who have probably returned to streaming Liverpool and man u games.
Just checked we averaged 8986 a game pre covid and had 3 crowds of over 10, 000 over the 17 games we played and this season we've averaged 8672 with a highest of 9874 v Ipswich.
How are others doing?
Most of that shortfall seems to be in the family area, which I'm assuming is linked with school Covid issues around here. Every other area seems to be sell as pre-Covid.

Surprised at Rotherham getting less than 8k home fans in one of their most attractive games of the season. Us and them usually get very similar numbers at home, but we had over 1k more fans this past weekend. I'm guessing it's down to them charging high admission prices in order to milk the Sunderland fans.
Yes, Rotherham fans upset about it too. The ones not able to get tickets missed a cracking performance.
The reason though was the capacity was reduced for the home fans due to outside public works affecting the exits.
The whole Handling of the situation was quite poor from the club.
The match was in effect a reduced capacity sell out.

Capacity has been reduced to 10,500 until January by council due to works outside one of the stands so it was a home sellout. We messed up giving Sunderland more tickets we should have gave them less and put some of our fans in the away end.

No attendance figure that I can find so far for Fleetwood vs Wigan. Away end was sold out though, 1.1k I think but don't take that as gospel!

EDIT: Crowd was 3246, no away figure given.

Clash of the railway towns Saturday! Tbh, I’d be disappointed not to win.

133 U’s at Morecambe. It’s a bit of a poke from here and we’ve played them for about the last seven seasons so not the most attractive midweek trip. I did see one “fan” in the away end was Paul Mullin.

1,850 Ipswich at Wycombe last night. Not an official figure, but reports indicated that Ipswich sold out their allocation which was reported as the above (slightly more than we usually allocate).
Not sure that there will be any more precise figure published.

Hard to see us getting past Swindon on Saturday even if we are (currently) a league higher and at home but it's football and we've still got some half decent players so you never know but I think most people will fancy Swindon to turn us over and that's understandable at the moment.

I suppose a lot will depend on what sort of team the clubs put out. The following weekend is international weekend and we had 5 players out last time - although we played on and beat FGR. If we decide to call the Crawley game off I’d expect us to put out a near first XI in the FA Cup.

Announced this afternoon that our game at Burton next Saturday will go ahead and tickets just gone on sale, be interesting to see how many we shift at such short notice.

Ours against Fleetwood is postponed, hopefully all of our walking wounded will be back for the Lincoln game but I’m not holding my breath

We’ve sold the initial 1500 for Charlton on Tuesday 7th December. Another sell out of 3k then. Loving our away support this year.

Around 920 sold when coming offline this morning.

Not bad for a week’s notice.

Crazy that still over 800 are crazy enough, to give up time, money and energy watch the dross that they are serving up at the moment.

Was expecting a much lower crowd with Bolton kicking off the same time as England, Surprised this wasn't changed back to the Saturday afternoon as it was initially changed to Friday because we were supposed to be hosting a Rugby league World Cup match this weekend but the tournament was cancelled at the beginning of August, Had over 3 months to switch it back,
