Pretty poor, long trip and all that but we ought to be topping two hundred these days even if we are tinpot.
Yeah i was expecting a few more, maybe around 300, but still, when you consider home attendances, guess it aint too bad. Next 2 i believe at home for us are Fleetwood and Accrington and will be expecting similar numbers from both. Think Fleetwood managed just over 100 first game last season.

I had been planning to go to Lincoln, but the combination of the train strike (which would have added around three hours to the usual journey time....) and the weather made me think.....today is really not the day to make that journey. Is the air siren back in service for home corners?

158 FGR at Lincoln today

Which all things considered makes 158 not a bad effort from us in the. circumstances.

We were never going to take 300 odd to bloody Lincoln today.

Tell you what, fans of us, Derby and Ipswich love to over egg our support.

Derby fans on their board expected 28k today, Ipswich on here 25k and us 24k.

All 2k lower.

We've somehow found 130 more seats for Posh so hopefully that does sell out, Bolton not looking to sell out our end around 3k sold so far.

Heat and a rail strike might account for that

In fairness I was right about our home support (actually I was about 500 off) but for some reason had believed MK had sold out the away end as someone claimed on out forum earlier this week. And they sold 500 rather than the 2500 I thought.

Considering the trains, I’d say it’s still a cracking turnout.

That said, it’s a fair point that you make.

We don’t give 2500 to away fans, 2000 max is normally the allocation.

and it also being August - many families on holiday!

A good point about many being on holiday, season ticket holders in our area weren’t there yesterday as they were on holiday and I know a few from work who would normally go but were on holiday too.

Is it only 2000? Have always had 2450 in my head for some reason.

Was suprised to see the away end as empty as it was today tbh. Albeit with the trains and everything, it’s understandable. It’s just that it’s not too far a trip I suppose.

Sold out tonight but overhead lines issues between Stevenage and Posh have caused disruption all down the East Coast Line

728 Vale at MK. That’s decent to be fair.
In a crowd of over 7k apparently...

Is Winkleman trying to cover up that the MK FC project has failed? cos there's no way there were more than 2k home fans there tonight.

Perhaps they use tickets sold / allocated and therefore include all STH and freebies given out whether present or not?

Its an odd one, clearly the Stadium was built for concerts rather than football. I recall when I went the seats were massive compared to normal football seats and you just seem lost in them, doesn't look 700 plus of us in there on the image for example.

Yates was on ifollow and obviously played there for us and he was saying its a really difficult place to go and put on a good game because there is just no atmosphere. Its just way to cavernous for MK Dons to make good use of.

Stunning stadium but not for a L1/L2 club, reminds me a bit of Darlington when they were rattling around the Reynolds Arena... that was an experience!
