Can't wait for all these massive followings to come down, and all the moaning about our allocations. I guess the first one isn't until Ipswich in November.
We've been before mate, and you're not the lowest we get I don't think so can't mump.

I let my ST lapse in 2019 and lost any ticket to away game advantage with, I've picked 4 games before Xmas to go, MK wasn't an issue and Plymouth I'm confident for, the reduced Vale allocation has put that in doubt and will be calling in old favours I suspect, I blagged 2 for Accy last year and hoping to go again.

Can't justify Exeter that close to Xmas though.

Ours may be moved to the Friday night as Stoke are at home at the same time. They have started to allow that but won’t with 3250 Sheffield Wednesday fans due.

Off to Shrewsbury?
Unfortunately not today. Had pencilled it in as one I’d be off to (usually do around 15 away games a season plus the season ticket). But unfortunately there’s no trains running afterwards and I’ve got something on Sunday so can’t do the overnight stay thats required.

A real shame as it’s one of only three grounds I’ve not done in the league. You off to Bolton today? Be a decent game that I’d have thought.

Nah, not a ground I like going to so swerving it.

I've got 3 left I've not been to but can't see me getting to em sadly.

Seen you've sold 1,300 which is superb all things considered.

Have to say I didn’t find it that appealing either when I went for a championship game a few seasons ago. Was impressed with them as a team the other week at our place though. Bolton will be a top 6 team I think and i still think Wednesday go up automatically.

Yeah it’s not a bad effort that at all considering just the first leg of Ipswich to London is extremely delayed (1 train every two hours I saw someone say yesterday). Then the actual London to Shrewsbury part which is non existent because of the strikes. Pretty much a Friday to Sunday situation for anyone who wants to go but doesn’t drive. One thing that did leave a sour taste though is that when the trains announced their strikes, presumably a few Ipswich fans booked local hotels but found the prices in the area dramatically increased when it was realised a load of our fans would be staying the weekend. Poor form, albeit I understand Shrewsbury’s hotel chains have a business to run but just an extra kick in the nads for our fans.

Wednesday had sold 4800 of the 5200 for Bolton by 1st thing Friday morning - the train strike may mean the other few hundred may not sell.

Some really impressive numbers this weekend, considering the strikes.

Bit low from Cheltenham mind?

They're a small club and had a stinking start to the season, really not a surprise!
True, but I feel like the general rule of thumb is to take 10% of your home crowds. This is a fairly local game so I'd have thought it would be at least 10% tbh.

I could make loads of excuses, but Yeo x3 basically sums it up.

When we have FGR, Bristol Rovers and Oxford nearer, coupled with all the big boys again, Exeter is probably about 11th or 12th, arguably lower, in terms of desirability. Then the rail strike and the M5 generally being shit on any Saturday in August, all adds up to an aah fuck it, Derby is in a month.

As I'm away for the next few weeks, here are the early tables ... no surprise to see Sheff Wed at the summit for away figures! You can click on each table to make it bigger!

Great stuff there. While it's nothing in comparison to some of the biggest clubs in the league and would not pretend otherwise I think our numbers are pretty good, not least that they are showing an upward trend from previous seasons. Hopefully we can maintain it or improve it further over time.

We're showing slightly stronger than our true level overall having got the Gas in so early in the season to bump up the average, should think couple of those below us won't be next May.

Good stuff Yeo. Interesting to look at.

Think we will end up 2nd in the away fans tbh. Had Shrewsbury, Burton and Forest Green away so far. Think of the three, we sold out 2 and the other was only a couple hundred off capacity.

As for the home one, it’ll be Derby first and then us and Sheffield Wednesday 2nd and 3rd. Obviously numbers of fans means nothing in terms of points but it’s interesting nonetheless. Very much appreciate the efforts of yourself and BarrieOwl to keep everyone updated with the numbers.

I'd also like to echo my thanks to Yeo for running this thread.
I'd also like to thank BarrieOwl for pointing me in direction of thread.
Now for a bit of fun I've added full attendances in order: both total and away support.

Any Barnsley fan on here know how many you’ve sold for today? Should be a 25k gate if you can bring around a thousand.
