Argyle (a) tickets for Halloween went on sale at midday today.
Only 1600, thought the away allocation was more than that, but I guess the Police have had a say.. Cant see them taking too long to sell out.

617 Valiants remortgaged their houses to sit in that hovel of an away end at Peterborough.

Decent effort that.

Fair play to any who went to that. It was less than an hour away for me and to be honest on principle I just was not paying their admission price.

If you were behind the goal I could understand but to pay that to sit in probably the worst away end in the EFL is a disgrace, it was bad enough 20 years ago when we were playing there!

Nice new stand completely empty. Shove them in the family stand when they come ours and charge them the same!

It does beg the question though who is making the decision on our stadium when it’s light years ahead of that stand? And why? In terms of our capacity cap.

Noticed Wycombe and FGR had the lower tier this season at ours. Looks like sub 1k followings will be getting that.

Wycombe
Usual culprits missing today ...

Saturday 17th September 2022

Derby County 2-1 Wycombe Wanderers | 24,784 [1,010]

That was a decent away showing for us given we only get 4-5000 at home…but this can be explained by the fact that it was a tick-off for most Wycombe fans, since we’ve never actually played at Pride Park other than when we were in the Championship…the snag being that that was the COVID season when fans couldn’t go to like 90% of the games.

We’d never take that many to anywhere more than an hour or so away unless it was either a new ground, or a key game - as you see from our 250 at Hillsborough today.

Unfortunately the old family stand section is completely condemned so we couldn’t use it. The vindictive part of me would say we should charge them £30+ for the return but then it’s not their fans fault and going down that path only leads to further tit-for-tat. As it happens they come to us in January so it might be them who are the first to get the Bycars end if we go through with the end swap for then.

You would have to charge your fans the same price.

Out of interest what price was it today?

For an adult it was £27 in advance or pay on the day £29.

Yeah that’s true and I absolutely wouldn’t want that to be honest. Lots are struggling enough right now without that sort of back and forth.

Same as they charged us, it was £26 today for Wycombe fans, Cat A again, ridiculous.

It’s how you pay for a million quid striker I guess.

It’s ridiculous pricing these days and I count us in charging £24.00 that (up £4.00 in advance tickets last season).

Don’t the Prem cap at £20.00 for away fans?

The Prem clubs don't need gate monies like EFL clubs do, they can afford to cap it when you get £100m for being the shittest team in the league.

That's weird, I have my Peterborough ticket for the postponed game with me - the printed ticket says the price is £27 on it, but FGR were selling them for, I think, £23. Which while overpriced is short of full-blown extortion, which £27 really is for this level.

Would we sell many more than that? Monday night, on Sky. I doubt we would take more

Was there ever a final figure announced by Wednesday for us last week? Seemed to remember town announced over 3100 were sold with a couple days to go and then the final figure never got a mention.

Some teams have played 4 away games this season while others have played 6 away.
Table below is therefore team's average, but bear in mind that some teams had exceptional excellent opening matches [such as FGR at Bristol R] that might distort usual average support.
