They get bigger gates...for now,based on their recent success,that's all.
But they're a plucky ex non-league outfit who only got into the FL in the late 70's and who were averaging 1,800 a few seasons back.
Wigan will always bow,and probably curtsey too,to the famous Crewe Alexandra...original members of the FL Second Division.

Ours has suffered a bit 1500 instead of 3000 at wigan and what would of been touching 3k again at blackpool which got called off cos of the cup game will now only be 1200/1500 or so at the end of the month.

Cracking atmosphere first half, can't comment on the second half as I spent it in the Marquee Bar then trudging along the canal in the snow back to the town centre for some more ale. Good day out, long and heavy though. That Berkley must have made an absolute killing off us

The power cut at the Keepmoat (well actually a large chunk of Donny) almost meant a postponement, then a delayed kick-off, in the end ok (phew, booked train tickets!) but no tannoy, no attendance issued (total or away)... My guess would be just under 6,000 in total and 450 Gills...
