On paper we should have won every game in November. And we've royally fucked that up. Danny Drinkwater is suspended so it's quite possible that we start a pairing of Amartey and King. So a lad who was brought in as a prospect and cover and a guy who wasn't good enough for our first 11 when we were in the championship. Hmm. Gonna need some serious tinkering!
Every Leicester fan wants to see something of Kapustka, the Polish kid we signed but so far he's not even made the matchday squads. He should be thrown in here given we'll be decimated when the ACN starts.
Conservative estimate, Leicester 5 - 1 Boro.
Brilliant, we start imposing ourselves a bit after the substitutions and then let Negredo just wander through to get onto a long through ball and... bollox.
Without Kante we haven't got a partner for Drinkwater to play a 4-4-2 (as Mendy was injured 50 minutes into a 0-0 with Arsenal).
Yet we still play 4-4-2. Ranieri needs to change the setup because we can't compete in the middle. Either that or he's going to try to coast til January and try to buy to fix the problem.
Kante and Drinkwater had an excellent understanding and both played mox to box. King is too attacking and frankly a champ player and Amartey is defensive and wasn't brought in for the first 11. Neither are anywhere near good enough to play there, so Huth and Morgan gets exposed a lot more than last year.
Nevermind eh. Shit happens. We were in a worse position 2 years ago.
Is it me or are Leicester's defence playing 10 yards higher than last season? Their defence was so tight last season and they've been poor this season...
Yes we are Ablur. Not a fucking clue why. We used to sit deep and tight (ooh) and looked solid. Now we're far higher up and have 2 slow centre backs. Awesome.
Thought so. I think it goes hand in hand with teams being more cautious and the onus being more on Leicester to break teams down this season more than the other way round.
It was inevitable that they'd be nowhere near the top again this season, but the one problem that Ranieri now has is that he's built expectations so high that a lot of the fans will now probably expect to easily finish in the top 6/8.
How long would you give Ranieri if things carried on the way they're going?
