If we don't go up, we'll lose half our players and can't afford to replace them I'm afraid. We have to go up this season; unfortunately, I think that if we don't go up this year we won't go up for years :(

Pushing the "tiny club" angle makes for good press, but I also think the Aussies are not comfortable that their new star midfielder is playing in England's third division, so they're projecting their insecurities onto Swindon. Subconsciously I'm sure it reminds them that the A League is rubbish and their national team is not that good either, and not being good is not something an Aussie likes to think about.
