This will be a very tough match for us. Even without Gundogan I can't really see us beating Dortmund. Hopefully we give it our best and its ends up being a good watch.

Great to see you back Pags, in this of all weeks, which coincidentally sees your return fall just days before Liverpool appear in a European Cup quarter final.

If you're not careful you'll soon be known as Pilo, or Bignell, with coincidences like that. Hope you are well.

Why thank you. It would be nice if my return did coincide with that, but it's a quarter final I have just predicted we will comfortably lose, and surely such an implied return would make more sense had we just beaten them. As usual, your logic is impeccable.

Oh, by the way, have you grown that hipster beard yet? They're all the rage I've heard.

It's a regular love-in.

Anyway I think Liverpool will get absolutely dicked in these games, and I mean skull fucked. Dortmund tore Spurs apart and while I can accept that Liverpool can be decent going forward when they click, that back line is going to get absolutely fucked by the German outfit.
They dismantled the tightest premier league defence with ease, imagine what they'll do with the service they'll get from Sakho and Mignolet!
If Liverpool get through this then Klopp deserves a go on the WAG of his choice.

Hey Auba, how many goals do you reckon Dortmund will manage?

Wishing players get injuries. Modern fans these days. For shame.

Looks like Firmino has traveled with the squad. He will probably be on bench though. Also read that the likes of Coutinho, Firmino and Clyne will miss a match if they get another yellow. Pretty sure at least two of the three will miss the second leg considering the ref is a card happy one.

Gonna be a very tough game, If we get something from it it would be awesome.
If Skrtel is nowhere near the XI I can see as have a small chance.

Genuinely no one seems to be backing Liverpool at all tonight?

WELCOME BACK PAGS.

Have to agree with Dessie though, it's quite obvious how you return just because we're playing in a quarter final in a second tier european cup where everyone (including you) think we'll get smashed.

Well, not tonight.

A few Liverpool fans, including me actually, think we might stand a chance over two legs with a bit of luck. But tonight alone? No, don't think so. Hopefully we'll only lose by one goal, and stay in the tie then catch a break in the second leg.

I'd say Dortmund are 75% favorites over the two legs though.

i think Liverpool have a real chance to win the tie, Dortmunds defence is not that strong, but they have to take Mkhytarian ( 20 goals 26 assists) Reus (19 goals 6 assists) and Aubameyang (36 goals 11 assists) out of the game at first.

Not sure what to make of Origi starting. He works hard but we now have to rely solely on Coutinho for the goals with Firmino and Sturridge on the bench

Odd that he benched Sturridge. Origi really doesn't threaten much.
